Bloody Leveling System?! This time it was for real, right? Still, what was up with that ominous introduction?
"Slaughter? Do I look like someone violent to you? I'm a civilized young man!" The blood-drenched youngster vehemently protested. Even now, he was covered in cockroach bits.
Light shone on him, the sky finally clear, but it only showcased how pitiful he looked. One arm torn off, legs pierced all over, gaping wounds on his stomach, and bones coming out.
The Alcove residents stared at his handiwork in disbelief. How had he soloed so many monsters?! But as they gazed at him, they were as awed as distressed.
His warrior career was over, and he had obviously lost his mind. His eyes were unfocused as he mumbled about "Class", "Blood", "Bard", and more random stuff.
But Nex was far too busy to care about them…

B̶e̶r̶s̶e̶r̶k̶e̶r̶ ̶ A Blood Rage skill could be OP, but his best weapon was his experience (Gaming +Training): he couldn't afford to lose his mind.
̶I̶m̶p̶a̶l̶e̶r̶ While going around menacing people of drilling them with his big stick could be fun...it wasn't the kind of reputation he wanted.
He hesitated between Blood Mage, Blood Bard, Bloodmancer, and Crimson Knight. The first three were obviously magic-related classes.
He had zero magic ability. Was this an opportunity to remedy this glaring weakness with the system, or would it instead hinder him?
Crimson Knight was the safest bet of them all. After all, it was the logical upgrade to his current fighting style, and he'd probably improve real quick.
His finger hovered toward it…but he suddenly stopped. It was the safest option, but was it the best one? The events of his summon flashed before him.

Could a crimson knight possibly defend against something like that? Perhaps, but he wasn't confident. No, he needed something with even more potential!

But as Nex observed them, he suddenly realized something strange. Their bodies were slightly glowing. Why? They emitted small particles of….wait, was this mana?!
He could freaking see mana now! In their shock, they were emitting energy like there was no tomorrow, and he gazed at it all as if a nude exhibition.
Was this how the people here saw the world?! No wonder he kept being called weak-looking! He was akin to a blind man suddenly regaining vision.
This scary, freaky world was so freaking beautiful! What, even the rocks emitted slight traces of mana?! He turned his head all around, enjoying the sights.
But suddenly, he froze.
In the distance, he had just seen a sun.
No, not an actual sun. It was way worse! There was a ginormous mountain of chaotic mana approaching. As he saw the thing's body, his entire being trembled.
Yet another Blood Cockroach had found its way to the Alcove. Except this one was freaking 200 meters tall and built like a goddamn castle!
Nex instantly realized what he had to do. He took a deep breath and… "Pseudo-Behemoth! RUNNNN!"
