Laying in a crib The Immortal or what the old lady had just called him, Ren was thinking about todays events. He had died yet lived, born again and watched his mother die, again. He swore he would kill a man and it became an objective in this odd system. Oh yeah he got a System and he still wasn't really sure what it did.

'Explain what this roulette is, also will I be rewarded for completing the World Objective?' As soon as Ren thought of the questions the answer had already arrived.

[Treasure Roulette allows user to gain special abilities and items from across the astral plane. Treasures that belong to world's that exist in a different plane of existence.]

[Treasure Roulette will automatically be spun when Blood limit has been reached. Items obtained will be added to your Mental World whilst abilities will be learned, however mastery of such abilities must come from the User themselves]

[Answering Users second question, once the World Objective is complete User will obtain a unique item and a World Ascendance pill]

Ren didn't even have time to finish his thought before the system answered his new question, it was incredibly high tier making Ren wonder who could possibly create such a thing.

'So once I kill my grandfather I can go to a new world, I'm assuming that there are world's out there greater than my original and if so I will definitely return and pay those bastards up in the heavens back a million fold. Don't worry my Family our revenge against the gods is not to far away.' Ren then frowned because actually it would probably take even longer that what his original life span was. After all he was currently a baby in an unknown world, right now he could only hope to get strong enough as a Ghoul to kill his grandfather which would only be the first stepping stone. His path was one of killing and blood in the past and it would not change now, the only problem in his new body though was mortality. As a Transcended Thunder Wolf he could live for close to a hundred thousand years which technically would still make him mortal but a lot could be accomplished in even a tenth of that time, which is how long Ren lived originally.

'Anyway I need to grow as a Ghoul, I'm not sure how to power up as a Ghoul but I'm sure through my childhood I'll be able to figure it out. For now though I need sleep for that is all I can really do as a baby.' Ren shut his eyes, the Mans face was still staring down at him with his blank eyes devoid of emotion as if his grandchild was neither a good nor a bad thing just simply a thing, something he could throw away without care.

The morning was ushered in with the sounds of babies screeching, rattling in their crib and the sounds of footsteps running in the hall ways.

Right now it was breakfast time and all the orphans were desperate for food, it wasn't because they weren't fed it's just that they weren't fed enough, each meal was like a special occasion for these children.

The babies were slowly fed some kind of porridge or bottled milk. There were about four babies excluding Ren and each were louder than the last, Ren had fortunately never felt the need to cry. In his old body it was actually impossible after the 'Incident' with his family so he has basically forgotten the function even if it's mostly subconscious.

When it was Ren's turn to be feed though the Carers were shocked to see such a calm baby, he couldn't even sit up yet but was already more mature than all the babies in the room. However their good will towards his lack of hassle soon faded as he puked anything that was feed to him up.

'Disgusting! What the fuck are you feeding me women! I knew humans were despicable but to kill a new born with this poison was beyond what I could imagine' Ren turned away from these foul creatures he would just have to starve after all he could not swallow that vile and putrid mass.

"Ladies please return to the dinning hall, I'll handle this child." A strict voice commanded the women to leave the room before locking the door behind her.

"Hello little one, I thought I was right when I saw you but this proves it. You mister are a Ghoul." The woman that Ren saw yesterday with black hair and green highlights with a stern face was leaning over his crib smiling with a demonic smirk.

Suddenly her Iris' that were once a light brown turned scarlet red and her pale white Sclera's became a midnight black. Black veins were visibly popping out around her eyes and her smile turned even more demonic.

"How do you like my Kakugan child? Are you afraid?" At the words of the women Ren did not cry but he did stare wide eyed at her, he wasn't afraid for his life rather he was anxious as he would leave with unfinished business

The woman was quite shocked that the baby only looked at her more intensely and was unafraid. Calming down her Kakugan vanished and she returned to her usual strict self.

Reaching into her pocket she now had a small container that had small red pieces within. Opening it the smell was delicious to Ren, the scent alone brought some pleasure to his mind. Before he cultivated through the ingestion of flesh and blood but he never enjoyed it, yet before him was a tiny piece of red juicy meat and he could barely hold himself back not that he could do match as a baby.

"You know there are some great perks that come with being the Mistress of an Orphanage, my personal favourite would be the tasty snacks that walk these hall ways everyday. Because I don't want a ravenous nor a dead ghoul on my property I will give you a share of my food. Not that you can understand me but I can see you understand that it is food time." The woman put the piece of meat into Ren's mouth and with it came absolute ecstasy. Ren was unaware but the pure joy of the meat made his Kakugan appear, his right eye that was already a scarlet red became brighter almost neon, the light if the stars reflected from them and made him look cute despite now ripping into some flesh.

"Enjoy that piece, I will feed you more in a week. Till then little one." The woman then put away the container and headed toward the door where a male carer was calling for her about some situation in the dining hall.

'A week? I was starting to like you but a week is much to long without food. Especially with how marvellous this flesh is, I must have more I want more!' Alas Ren had to follow the will of others whilst he was still incapable of even sitting up straight, he could at least move his arms though.'

Ren suddenly heard a noise in his head and so he closed his eyes and a large wheel appeared in his view, it was in the ground in front of him and was as vast as the ocean he couldn't see that other sides of it, if he was at the north point then south, east and west were on the otherwise of the World. In this large mental plane the there was an arrow the size of an arm pointing at one of the thousands of notches in the wheel, soon without warning it then began spinning.

The wheel moved at the speed of light creating a hypnotic rainbow in front of his eyes and then out of nowhere the wheel came to an abrupt stop, the sudden freeze in air flow made a sonic boom or shockwave fly vertically across Ren's view.

Then another abrupt action happened, Ren was pulled from the Roulette Mental World and was back to being a baby.

'What's a Shinigami?' Ren was still shocked at what he witnessed and now another unknown thing had appeared, he truly felt clueless in front of all these brand new concepts.

While Ren was contemplating whether or not to accept this he was rubbing his head in confusion, would he become a soul reaper then? Yet whilst doing the simple action of rubbing his head he noticed something.

'System Where is My Sister?' Ren shouted in his mind, even his baby voice made a strange cry.

'That's not what I asked, where is my sister's core? I had fused with it for hundreds of years and now it has disappeared. Where is it?' Ren felt truly anxious maybe even scared that he lost his sisters core, it was his light in the darkness something that kept him barely sane. It was the reason that despite his deep hatred for humans he wouldn't kill those younger than ten, it was the reason he actually developed in his humanoid form instead of staying primitive for the rest of his life. The core was honestly the only reason Ren held on to his revenge and didn't die in a ditch somewhere.
