4.The Imitheos

Roru Chikara P.O.V. As I had just finished bathing and dressing myself I heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I asked. "It is I young master"...The person at the door replied. "Oh, Danilia...let yourself in"... After receiving my approval Danilia let herself in, Danilia was a tall female maid with blond hair, a gental voice and a large bossom that worked for the staff of Ustilvia Academy and she was the one assigned with the cleaning duties of my room, I was introduced to her on the day of the welcoming ceremony, I had heard that this academy was prestigious but I really didn't expect them to be so well-off that they're able to assign each student with a personal maid. This Academy truly had everything, I have been here for a week now and today was the the day I would finally attend my first class, We were told to spend the first week bonding and getting accustomed to our new environment but the only bonding I did was with Theon and Lilith, besides them I haven't even said hello to anyone else. As I was about to open the door, Lilith barged into my room... "Oh, Roru...there you are, let's go"... She said with a wide smile. "You know you have to knock on a room before you walk in right?". "I only knock on doors of people I respect, and for me to respect you, you have to be stronger than me, so strong that you're able to defeat me before we even fight"... She said while the innocent smile she had on before was then replaced by a wider smug smile that had arrogance written all over it. Irritated by her comment I asked... "When do the dual chambers open up for students again?" Lilith put her forearm on my left shoulder and whispered I'm my ear... "Roru Chikara, I will destroy you". Unfazed by her threat I retorted. "Lilith...uh...uhm...What's your last name again?" "Hekima". "Yes, Lilith Hekima it will be I whom will destroy you...Wait Theon when did you get here". Realizing that it was not Lilith that told me her last name but Theon who had been standing outside I asked... "I came here to see what's taking Lilith so long and overheard talks of going to the dual chambers... Theon then proceeded to walk in and continued... "If you two are dueling why don't we make it a three way duel and see who's the strongest with one fight alone". Lilith burst with laughter after hearing Theons words... "Hahaha...I can't say I don't like the sound of that, How about it Roru?". With a smirk I replied... "Finally, something fun to look forward too...It's settled then, as soon as the chambers open we will duel, better practice guys". Theon delighted of the fact that his idea was well received shouted... "Yes, I knew I wouldn't regret talking to you too". As we were leaving my room I asked Theon what his last name was and before he was about to answer Lilith didn't give him a chance and answered for him... "It's Arma". "Arma huh?, wait Arma, Hekima? aren't those two of the five...". Lilith chuckled at my realization and said... "Yes, yes they are...Chikara". Once we had exited the living sector of the academy we went to the Endo educational sector, this is where we were told the lessons will take place. "Where are you guys headed?" I asked Theon and Lilith, Lilith responded. "Every student is required to take history as their first subject here, they say that History is the subject that surpasses all, for you learn your origins and gain different perspectives, you know...all the wise sage stuff". "Well, let's go have a taste of this sage knowledge then" Theon said as he opened the door of the learning hall. I expected the room to be full of students but there were only only about 15 or so people seated... with Theon, Lilith and I that would make 18 and with the professor 19, The rooms layout was quite different from the one at the Ceremony, this one had a large square in the middle of the room, I assume that's where the professor would stand while teaching, because it was surrounded by chairs on every side, this allowed for a better experience with the teacher, because everyone of us would see and hear them clearly. We proceeded to take our seats in the learning hall, away from each other of course, with this much room in here there was no need to sit close to each other, and it wasn't as if we were friends or anything of the sort, just 3 people using each other for their own personal gain. A few minutes after we were seated we heard a female voice from outside the room saying... "Welcome to your first lesson young ones, I am miss Sylvia and I will be your History teacher... As we all turned our heads towards the door to see the source of the noise, The so called Sylvia came in and said... "My apologies, I would've preferred to have been here earlier but I was summoned by Master Gilbert and so I had to give him an audience. The woman then proceeded to stand in the middle of the room on the square panel where she could be seen by everyone. "Now that I have arrived and I have given my apologies, I have a question for you young lad...Where are you from". She said this while pointing at a boy with a bald head and large physic, this had us all by surprise. The boy looked to be composed as he answered... "I am from the Arma clan...But not of the higher sector, I am from the third sector...My name is Rabiel Hindo". After Rabiels answer the teacher raised her left hand and ordered... "Raise your hand if you noticed". Every student in the room raised their hand including Rabiel himself. "I'm glad that even you yourself noticed it young one, the answer had too much information, and information is a treasure that is not supposed be shared so easily, now assuming I was an enemy of your clan, I would have instantly killed you after hearing the name Arma, now of course that will never happen within the academy but that is what would happen in the real world, not everyone has signed the peace treaty afterall". Sylvia then went on to give us a summary of the origins of the Imitheos. She told us that the Imitheos are not God's but beings that possess the genes of God's due to these God's reproducing with humans. The Imitheos are the strongest beings in this world, The Imitheos also influence human society in many ways, The wars, plagues, diseases, historical conquerors all have been influenced by the Imitheos in some way shape or form. The Imitheos were created by Five God's whom wanted to experiment on humans, Each clan has a God that they owe their creation to, Each clan keeps the name of their God secret from the other clans, The clans are very secretive with their information. Each clan has a trait that makes them Different from each other, First you have the Chikara clan, a clan with extraordinary physical abilities and healing. Second there's the Arma clan, The clan of living weapons, The Arma are also capable of seeing into the future. Third we have the Hekima, The clan of Wisdom, It is said that this clan have permanent memories and limb regeneration. Fourth it's the Moguera, The clan of Manipulators and deceivers, With the ability to alter memories and Cast illusions. Finally we have the Amado clan, The clan that can summon creatures from the realm of the God's, it is said that this clan is the one that is most connected with their God's. The clans have been at war with each other many times in the past, After the last war of the five clans, A treaty was offered, The Chikara, Arma and Hekima signed the peace treaty. The Moguera and Amado declined to sign, meaning that hostilities between those two clans and the other three were still ongoing, in reality all the clans hate each other but the casualties were just too great to bare. After telling us all of this, Sylvia then proceeded to leave the center square, headed to the door and said... "That is all for today, I can't wait for our next lesson"... After Sylvia's exit Theon and I went over to where Lilith was seated and had a conversation about Sylvia's character, Whilst we were talking...The boy named Rabiel Hindo introduced himself to us, we had seen him introducing himself to every learner in the room and hoped we'd be spared but life is not kind to the wicked or so I've heard... "Greetings, I am Rabiel Hindo, it is a pleasure to meet you all"... "Great to hear it, now leave". That was the sentence I was about to say but Theon beat me to it... "Dammit Theon, I wanted to be the one to make him go away"... Lilith said after hearing Theon speak, I guess I wasn't the only one who was beaten to the punch... Rabiel...angry at our response then went on to say... "How dare you?, how dare you speak to me in that manner...I was merely trying to introduce myself but you lot choose to respond in such a rude manner"... While he was ranting Rabiel then proceeded to unleash his killing intent, his intent wasn't infused with Zeal so it was nothing that we three couldn't handle. "Rondo"... Theon said... "What?"... Confused Rabiel asked... "I said Rondo...Third sector division 4, am I correct?". Theon asked... "Yes, but how do you know that?...Only the ones at the higher sector know which division each family is located". With a smile Theon asked... "Theon Arma, Handsome devil, as strong as they come and a genius...ever heard of him?"... "Don't tell me you're..." "Yes, now leave us"... Theon interrupted Rabiel as he was just about to finish his sentence. "Sorry sir, my apologies"... Rabiel said while running out the classroom. "Being scared off by an individual in this academy is foolish, especially by one whose strength you don't know, he might have even been stronger than you, we know he isn't but he could atleast try to find out"... I said while heading out the classroom with Theon and Lilith... Lilith looked at me after hearing my sentence and asked... "You didn't grow up around The Imitheos did you Roru?". I answered... "Of course I didn't, I grew up around humans, the only Imithean I knew was my grandfather". Lilith then proceeded to look at me with a look of confusion and intrigue as she asked... "One of the higher sector that grew up around pathetic humans, isn't that something that isn't supposed to happen even if hell freezes over?" Theon also couldn't help himself from being nosey so he asked... "Wait...Does that mean this academy is your first experience into the world of the Imitheos, And you said your grandfather was the only Imithean you know, Does that mean, you have never met your parents, siblings or even seen the Chikara Region?". I replied... "Yes Theon I have never seen nor heard from my parents ever, I don't even know what a "Chikara Region" is...I have absolutely zero knowledge on The Imitheos, well not zero,since I just took a history lesson but other than that and the names of the Great Clans that my grandfather told me...I know nothing, My grandfather would always say I'll know soon enough". "It's a good thing that you're a member of the Higher Chikara sector or else I would've killed you if you were as arrogant and egotistic as you are without being one". Theon said... "Even if I was member of the lower sector, You wouldn't be able to kill me Theon" I retorted with a smirk... Lilith said... "You idiot...if you weren't a Chikara you wouldn't have all that strength and healing...well...let me not say you wouldn't have it, but it wouldn't be as close to what it is now...Even the difference in strength between the Higher sector and the 1st sector in the first division of a bloodline is insanely huge" Shocked...I replied... "Wow, I didn't know that's how things worked around here, is that why that Rondo guy was so afraid of you...Well good thing I'm of the higher sector then" Lilith smiled...
