8 THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SMILE

Luke and Drew are in their wolves form. They visited Selena's house/store. Luke can't control himself and his wolf they both want to see their Mate or at least inhale her scent from afar. The years of waiting makes him impatient.

Drew accompanied him because he is worried. He can tell his Alpha is getting impatient. He was afraid that Luke might scared Selena away with this idea of visiting her in their wolf form. He thought if Selena get frightened it will be more difficult for them to approach her.

They were across the street in front of Selena's house. Luke growl in excitement and tried to inhale his mate's scent. When they got there the house is already close and he is having a hard time seeing or smelling her scent. Then suddenly Selena's window opened. Both wolves were surprised. They both slowly walked back and hide themselves in the dark. When a car pass by them the light hits their location. Luke saw how her Mate's eyes widen and he got very worried. At first he thought she was frightened by them but then he clearly saw a hint of smile on her lips. His heart skipped a beat. 'That is the most beautiful smile I have ever seen in my life'. He thought to himself. Then the window closed. They'd stay for a minute more then decided to leave as fast as the wind.

Stronghold Academy.

"Hey Luna!". Clint shouted across the hall. He didn't saw how his friends faces turned grimaced when he called Selena using latin translation of her name. He didn't also noticed that some of their people turned their head to see her.

Except for Kevin, Sam and Mark got startled. They both know Selena is their future Luna and they have no idea if Clint also knows it. Calling her Luna out in the public might endanger her life.

"I think you need to talk to them". Sam whispered to Mark.

Selena is putting some of her school stuff inside her locker when she heard a familiar voice. "Please not them". She prayed silently because she do recognized the owner of that voice. She have the ability to remember certain things that she wants to recall specially the voices of the people who loves to bully her. She took a peek and became disappointed. "Not all prayers can be answered". She murmured to herself.

"Hey Luna!". Clint repeated the name he used to call her.

Selena rolled her eyes and ignored Clint. "Here comes the bullies!". Selena said mockingly. She doesn't care if he heard it or not. She closed her locker door and gave Clint a sharp gaze.

Clint felt some killing intent in Selena's gazed just like the way their Alpha looked at them yesterday but he tried to ignore it. On his mind they need to get close to her because that's what their Alpha wants. "Luna, that's your surname in Latin right?". He is now wearing an awkward smile. He can't helped but feel a bit intimidated by her.

"No!". Selena said directly to him. She walked pass him in a rush. She have no intention of interacting with them.

"Idiot". Sam gave Clint a deadly stare. He is literally messing up with her again. Good thing that the other students and their kinds turned their back when they heard Clint's explanation. He was relieved.

"Selena wait!". Mark tried to stop her from leaving by grabbing her arm. He will took the initiative to apologize. "About yesterday..... We're here to apologize". He said sincerely to her.

"Yeah, we're very sorry. We've been so rude yesterday". Sam second in motion then he kicked Kevin's foot.

"Oh yes.... That's right.... We're here to apologize". Kevin said stuttering. He have no idea why do they have to apologize but his two friends already did so just followed their lead.

Selena were dumbfounded. 'They are apologizing.... To me?'. Her mind screaming the word to her. She looked at them with disbelief but she can see the sincerity to the two guys faces and the other look lost, she'd rather choose to forgive. Though the way they bullied her is way too different from her past experiences. Come to think of it she never heard them planned such a scheme and she can really swear nobody knows her secret addiction to strawberry flavored cakes. But then again she won't let her guard down.

"Is this another one of your pranks?". She said directly with knitted brows.

"No we're serious". Sam said quickly. "Bullying is never allowed in this school. We maybe been naughty, a bit, but we didn't really mean to hurt anyone.... I swear!". Sam showed sincerity to his words. He even raised her hand like he really is swearing the truth.

Selena sighed. 'Well, he look serious and cute'. She thought.

"Here!". Mark handed her a little box.

Selena looked at the box and reluctantly accept it. "So, what's inside?.... Rat, snake, worms, spider or body parts of anything with rotting flesh and blood on it?".

Her voice is quite loud and some people heard what she said. They feel disgusted.

"What the hell are you talking about?". Kevin was so shocked when he heard her asked. "it's just a strawberry cupcake!".

Sam and Mark became silent. Somehow they felt sad. They both thought people could really bully someone to that extreme and it probably happened so often to Selena that she got so used to it. She can even say it like asking for a glass of water.

"Strawberry cup cake, huh!". She secretly gulped down. She can actually tell what's inside the box because of the intoxicating smell. But she won't take it easily. "And what's inside, fish guts or human shit?".

Some people near them who can actually hear all the words she's saying wants to vomit already. The word 'yuck!' spread all over the hall.

"Please don't insult my mother's cupcake, she worked very hard for it". Mark got a bit offended. He took back the box and opened it in front of her. He takes out the cupcake and break it into two then took a huge bite on the other half.

Selena's eyes grew wide in disbelief when Mark took back the box from her hand and she was more surprised when he took the cupcake out. It was so big like a mini cake and it really smell so good. She fantasize of savoring the flavor of it in her mouth but her fantasy of eating it crumbles down when Mark took a big bite on half of the cupcake.

"What the hell.....you!". She grabbed back the remaining cupcake in Mark's hands. "You already gave this to me why did you took it back..... And you took a huge bite!". Selena shove the rest of the cupcake in her mouth. The one that Mark was eating then snatched the other half and leave.

The four boys mouth were left gape.

L. S. Corporation.

"Any plans in mind?". Drew can't take the silence anymore. Luke hasn't move or speak since this morning even Sylvia got worried.

"How about a part time instructor". Luke shift his gaze to Drew on the other side of the table.

"What?". Drew was stupefied by Luke's question. He have no idea what he is talking about.

"In order to be with her. I need to be in the Academy often right?". Luke is tapping the table. He seems to be thinking again. "I don't think I can stay there for a whole day without any reason".

"I see". Drew just raised his brows. He can't still follow what his Alpha is thinking.

"Sir, how about a frequent visit. As the owner of the school you have those rights. And you can also tell them that you are studying the children's behaviors or you can be a guest speaker for once. How about that?". Sylvia's suggestions is not to help her Alpha but trying to help her beloved Beta instead. In her eyes they looked so lost in their mans world.

Luke's face lights with his secretary's idea. "I love your idea!". He instantly said.

Drew's growl came in between them.

"Easy boy, I said, it's her idea that I like not her". And Luke chuckles.
