2 ADOPTED

For almost a week since they moved in, in Clawed City. Selena and her mother became busy cleaning and arranging all their stuff. And just like what her mother suggested or decided before moving in, the lower ground became a store for her teas, herbals and other witchy stuff. That's what the other people called their store from before. They all think her mother is a witch and she was looked down because of it. But for Selena it's just a business that her mother choose and she have no problem with it.

The second floor becomes their home. There were two bedroom and bath, which is Selena's very thankful. She always have a problem with Erin's bath routine. Her mother can take at least two to three hours in the bathtub depends on what bath oil she is using. Erin doesn't like commercial products everything they use are all her creations. Selena loves her mother's products specially her bath oils and shampoos that Erin only made for her. She thought they are very calming plus the fact that she's the only one who have that kind of product. Erin don't sell them to anyone.

The mother and daughter duo are both busy all week. Erin needs to go to the local government to register their store and have a permit to sell her stuff while Selena needs to go to Stronghold Academy to enroll herself. Her mother wants to accompany her but she was busy as well. But Selena was very thankful that she didn't insist on coming or a lot of questions will be throw again at them.

From their looks alone anyone can tell that Erin is not her biological mother. Selena is a perfect resemblance of snowhite, it's a teaser for her since she was young. Her long black soft satin hair are as dark as charcoal, her perfect white and porcelain skin is as white as snow and her natural cherry lips are as red as blood plus the fact that she have a small heart shape face and a small pointed nose that resembles an innocent beauty. When she was young some kids would call her fairy or little angel. Erin on the other hand have a curled ginger hair, an oval shaped face that looks very friendly and her complexion is somewhat like a latin race. She also loves to wear bohemian style or gypsy clothes and it makes her look like a hippy from the sixty's.

When Selena was young, everytime Erin enrolled her to a new school a lot of nosy people can't helped but asked questions about them. They are so curious about her and her mother and they looked at them with a judgemental eyes. Sometimes their questions sounded like an interrogation and it makes her mother mad and Erin's friendly face becomes tyrannical. Selena sometimes got angry at people who asked too much questions about their lives but Erin would only tell her to ignore them. She got used to this situation since this kind of scene often happens. At a young age she learned something useful that can make their mouth shut that is to slap them with the truth.

Eight years ago in Greenhomes Orphanage.

Selena is the oldest child that been adopted from Greenhomes Orphanage. She's already eight years old when Erin found her. Erin said that she fell in love with her like she is her own child when she first sees her. She also told Selena that she looks like an angel but she was wondering why no one ever adopted her from the beginning. Erin asked about her background to the home parents and child welfare personnel.

Selena was found in a busy market in the city when she was three years old and she was crying very hard. From then on she was put in Greenhomes Orphanage. A total of eleven families tried to adopt her because she's very beautiful like an angel. They fostered her first to see if she can adopt to a new environment but returned her after a few weeks or months saying she has abnormalities and they can't take care of her. The social workers and in-house mothers don't understand what the foster parents are saying because they cannot see those so called abnormalities on the child. Young Selena is a well behave child in all the kids of the orphanage, they thought maybe she is too timid or shy and she don't cooperate with her foster family. Those flaws didn't stop them, their hopes never ceased for her to have a new home until one day Erin came. Selena just turned eight when Erin came to her life and adopted her right away. When both of them saw each other they felt a connection they don't understand. They thought it was a connection that a mother and daughter only have. After that adoption everything was history.
