3 New Look

I was really short for my age at fifteen years old. I had long black hair that had grown past my shoulders and reached towards my back. My eyes were black or used to be black as I just discovered they had turned entirely white. There were no irises, but I could still see clearly. In fact, I could see really well now that I looked around I could see every tiny thing. How could I have not noticed?

I closed my eyes and imagined my disguise. I wanted to infiltrate the Bloody Scorpion Gang, and i needed a strong appearance. I had to look like one of their members. I imagined a tall man very lean too, this man had red hair and red eyes and had thousands of tattoos on his body with a crimson red scorpion predominant among the tattoos with them coming in all sizes.

The man had a very intimidating look and looked like a seasoned veteran of a war. His clothes were a full black robe that covered his entire body. The black robe gave him a mysterious look. He chose his age to look like he was 30 to 32. The use of middle age would add to the idea that I was a man that had gone through a war.

I opened my eyes only to feel nothing. I looked the exact same as I looked before. Confused I was about to try again when a searing pain entered my back, and a scream of agony escaped my lips. I could hear my bones breaking one by one in my body as they shifted themselves. I had grown tall by the time the pain had finished, and the rags I wore were torn apart by the difference in size.

Suddenly, the rags I wore disappeared only to be replaced by a long black robe. I looked the same as I envisioned myself and looked through the window at the building I could see there was a difference. My eyes still looked the same. Instead of the red eyes, I imagined, it was still the full white eyes with no irises.

Looking at myself even I could not help but be a little bit scared of my new appearance as I indeed looked intimidating and coupled with the full white eyes it only made me look much more dangerous. I felt like I was still missing something in till it finally knocked in. An Aura. All the intimidating people I had seen in the gang all had auras on them. Something that would make them unique as each person had a different atmosphere surrounding them.

I felt like Aura was a word that was a bit too powerful for me to handle but if I was only taking a bit out of it such as the intimidating aspect of an aura.I could pull it off. I took the sharpened wood to see that my previous wound was gone. It must have been the reforming of my body that healed it and without no hesitation, I stabbed myself in the elbow. I furiously held back a scream this time as the bloodline instantly resonated with me.

When it did I once again closed my eyes looking for that same feeling I had felt some time ago. Soon enough I felt it as I willed my heart to build an intimidating aura that surrounded me. For some time it did not come as I waited however it soon showed itself as I felt an intimidating aura surrounding me.

I was so happy that I was laughing loudly in joy. I soon got back to matter in hand and got out of the alley I was hiding. As I walked out of the dark alley, a headache hit me as my body slumped to the floor. I tried to move but couldn't. I stayed fallen to the floor for an hour at least only to be able to stand back up and walk around finally.

The loss of movement I just felt must have been what the Ancestor meant by I would run out of energy if I tried too hard. I breathed a sigh of relief as I could not imagine the consequences of what would happen if I tried using the full power of 'Aura' rather than a small aspect of it. I was lucky too as no one had come by the road probably because it was a very desolate place that no one rarely passed through this road and most residents if the city hid in their homes tonight.

Tonight the war in the streets was unlike any other. Even by the standards of the previous wars that had happened between the two gangs the lawless city of Elanor was witnessing one of unprecedented brutality. This war would only end in the demise of one of the gangs.

However, I would not allow that as I had a plan for both Gangs. Walking towards the war-torn streets of Elanor with a smile adorning my face and ruthless plan formulating itself in my head.
