Chapter 6️⃣ - Mission

After getting everything I needed I walked to the front entrance.

"Ready for your first mission?" Utahime asked.

"Yeah I'm ready."

"The manager is waiting they would take you to the place & tell you the details." Utahime says

'Finally I'm here.' I thought looking at the school.

The school stinks with malicious cursed energy. And it made it worse due to the school being abandoned.

There was a school playground. The ground was dirty & filled with trash. Walking over empty bags of chips & more.

"There are multiple curses within the building ranging from grade 3. Be sure to exorcise these curses." The auxiliary manager said

Waking inside the small was bad dust everywhere. Probably inhaling a lot of dust. That's how much dust it was.

Walking through the hallway I see many classrooms with broken windows, dirty desks etc.

After walking I'll stop finding it in the classroom in front of me. Getting my bow & arrow ready.

As I was slowly walking to the door a cursed spirit busted it open with its claw-like hands.

Before the attack can hit I took a step back dodging it. While still in the air I let loose two arrows at the curses hitting it in the chest & head causing it to bleed out purple blood.

'This was most likely a grade 3 judging how easy it was to exercise.' I thought turning around I sensed another curse coming from around the corner.

Shooting an arrow I manipulate it to veer around the corner of the hallway hitting the cursed spirit in its arm.

Looking at how many arrows I had left I decided not to use all of them.

'The curse should be weakened due to the arrow hitting him & due to my blood being poison towards curses.'

Taking this opportunity I ran towards the curse & cut the corner busting open a blood bag concentrating it between my hands.

'Blood manipulation... Slicing exorcism!'

The blood turned into a shuriken rotating at high speeds & began zooming at the cursed slicing the spirit in half causing it to fall face first on the ground.

Due to the first sneak attack by the curse my senses heightened.

Walking deeper into the hallway the air around me started to get heavy making it hard to breathe.

Coming close to the end of the hallway the curse energy radiating from here was crazy. The curse energy was eviler & more sinister than the first two I killed.

'Is... Is this a grade one or a semi grade 1?'

Walking closer to the end of the hallway I hear

laughing this causes me to halt. As I see a curse with blood on its jaws & teeth carrying a dead body with its guts out.

Seeing as the cursed spirit was occupied I decided to attack first.

'Blood manipulation Slicing exorcism!'

Throwing the blood shuriken the attack did a little damage as the cursed started crying out "It hurt it hurt." Due to the poison.

After it stop yelling the curse turned around gaining its attention the cursed spirit started running towards me at a quick speed.

Nearly dodging a punch the cursed spirit clap its hands with curses energy blasting me in the air.

While in the air I take my bow & discharge 3 arrows at the curse. Not wishing for the curse to dodge the arrows I started manipulating them.

As one arrow diverts its attention I manipulate the other two to hit the curse from behind.

Landing on my feet as I watch the two arrows whack the curse in the back.

'Tch that should slow it down. It seems like it has no curse technique which is good'

Opening one of my eyes 2 red lines surround it.

'Flowing Red Scale'

Getting a good look at the curse it was green with four eyes with long hair.

'I need to finish this curse now. Its hair is four times my body length. The curse uses it like tentacles'

I rush in front of the curse palm striking its stomach. While it looks down at me I punch it in the chin causing it to growl in discomfort.

While the curse was in the air due to my punch to the chin I follow up with a flying spinning kick to its side rib. The force from the attack made the curse blast in the back of the hallway whacking into a wall.

Dust was everywhere causing my eyes to go blind. The curse took this opportunity to rush me it proceeded to punch me but I block it just in time. Despite blocking the punch the attack sent me flying back.

While in the air I felt something grab my ankle. when I look down the hair of the curse swung me into a wall breaking it and slamming into a desk.

Getting up slowly I started to wince.

Reaching to get more arrows I realize the rest of them were broken due to the impact.

'Tch damn it'

Sensing the curse coming I grab a blood bag.

'I'll use Crimson binding to stop its tracks. Then I use piercing blood aimed at its head effectively exercising it. Crimson binding probably can only hold it for a couple of seconds before it rips it apart'

As my thought finished the curse appeared rushing towards me as I threw the pack of blood at the curse.

'Crimson binding!'

The blood pack explodes & warps around the curse like a net restricting its movement.

Clapping my hands together I started compressing my blood. 'Convergence'

"Piercing blood!"

I fire a beam of blood at the curse head. As the blood beam hits the curse in its head unable to do anything as my blood started dripping from behind his head.

Closing my eye the red lines started to disappear as my adrenaline started to go away. I started to feel the pain from the attacks on my arm.

This caused me to sit down on the ground as my blood was everywhere. Getting my phone out I called the auxiliary manager.

"The curses are successfully exercised. Can you come to get me my body refuses to move."

"I'll be there in any minute are you hurt?"

"Yes take your time I'm not dying I'm probably just going lay dow-" Before I finish my sentence I collapsed on the ground.

"Hello? Noritoshi Helloooooo?" The auxiliary manager yelled.
