"Blood war? Who cares about your blood war? Turn me back to normal right now or else I wont just break your barrier! I'll rip your throat out!" Kai exclaimed. "Easy tiger, I'm sure you would love to hear what I'm about to say. Thats only IF you still want to turn back to normal" the man replied calmly.

"Have a seat anywhere, I'll tell you what's about to happen". Kai slowly and cautiously approached the man since he still doesn't know his motives. He kept a safe distance as he approached while making sure that he still has enough distance to dodge any possible attacks.

"Let me first introduce myself, my name is Ryu. I have been the overseer of the blood war for the past centuries and for the centuries to come. On the 3rd full moon you will need to fight 3 different individuals on a death match. The winner will get his humanity back and will also have 1 wish granted " Ryu laughed and sounded like it came from a homicidal maniac, and his calm expression changed while he was explaining the mechanics of the upcoming carnage. He also looked into his hands as if he is reminiscing something."What do you seek lad?"Ryu added "Fame? Power? World domination? It can be granted upon winning the war". Kai replied "My life. . I want my life back! I want everything back to normal." Ryu smirked and said "Then win! but don't you dare think that this is going to be like a walk in the park. You're not immortal, earthly weapons cannot hurt you but the other candidates can.They have also been given random supernatural abilities. I forbid any early fights before then, but in the event that someone violates this rule" Ryu stood up and shouted "I'll deal with it personally!" black flames surrounded Ryu and on his feet was some sort of a magic circle. His presence was nothing like before and Kai finally saw his aura's color. Its bloody red and he can clearly feel his killing intent. Ryu suddenly looked at him and said "This whole town of Tartarus is the battlefield" and in a blink of an eye, he disappeared.

Kai sat down while he is still processing all the information that was given to him. He felt happy that he still has a chance of turning back to normal, yet he doesn't know what kind of fortune awaits him when he returns. He thought maybe the cops are still trying to find if some was able to find out about what happened. He also thought about what happened to Selah after their last encounter. Morning came as he thinks about his current situation, and he finally said to himself "Nothing will happen if I just think. I'll win this so-called blood war first then I'll face the consequences after."

He suddenly smelled someone outside the cave, so he ran quietly to take a peek. He saw a blue aura hiding on the top of the tree (which shows that the person in hiding is calm )and he said to himself "You can't hide from my sense of smell, same goes for your aura". He picked a stone and threw it on that direction. Given his current strength the stone pierced through the tree but the person managed to dodge it and ran away. He thought that it may just be another candidate and he should be cautious from this point on.
