1 Kicking The Bucket

I'm tired, sick and tired of living. These were my last thoughts as I downed my third bottle of liquor in a row after the 30 pack of beer. Then I died. Or I think I did anyway. The reason for the confusion, is that I'm now awake in a hospital bed. Looking down at myself, I don't recognize my hands. So, reincarnation or body snatching is it? Getting up slowly, I head to the bathroom and look in the mirror.

A strikingly handsome face greets me, unlike my old one. Regal, elegant, sexy, and handsome. I'm a lady killer, destroyer of worlds. Cobalt blue eyes, long dark eyelashes and shoulder length jet black hair. Full luscious lips, and snow white skin. Ripped physique and standing over 6 feet tall I'm perfect.

As I finish checking myself out in the mirror, a voice screams behind me. "Doctor! Patient Devin Salyars is awake! We must notify his family at once!" Spinning around, I see a red faced nurse looking at me in shock and joy. But I'm confused because I just heard my name. Is this an alternate earth and this is the parallel world version of me? Stands to reason I suppose. Anyway, time to greet the nurse.

Walking up to the nurse, who's name tag says Megan, I smile at her and say, "Hey, I'm awake. Don't suppose you can tell me where I am or how I got here?" Nodding with sparkling eyes, Nurse Megan began to explain what happened to "me". I got in a snow boarding accident and went into a coma for the past 5 years. I'm currently 15 years old now and would be a freshy in high school. However I've been in the hospital since I was a kid so, I digress.

Moving on. The nurse finished her explanation and then the doctor came in with the director who both had tears of joy on their faces. Doctor Kyle and Director James Didier both turned out to be friends of my mom Gina and dad Ray. Huh. Same parents names too. To make a long story short, they called my parents who came flying in like bats out of hell, and when I saw them, memories not my own poured into my mind. I now had full access to this body's memories. Sighing in relief inside, I greeted and hugged my new parents for this new life. Let my new adventure begin!
