1 Part -1 : THE SOLDIER

"I , The king of Nil Adria , Declare my daughter's marriage to the King of Ashreth . " My fæder Announced on the celebration Of His friendship with the king of Ashreth . Currently It was the feast Of declaration. It's the tradition of Nil Adria , Every Royal Used to get a Declaration of their wedding.

" King of Astreth has arrived" I heard drums echoing The throne hall . I could feel another source of the sound actually started outside the palace. Every time the drum beat, My heart beat as well . Standing up from his throne ,My father gestured me to leave . I bow my head in response to my fathers order. Suddenly drums stopped.I heard footsteps ,deep steady sounds of shoes immediately Inserted knot  in my stomach. I shifted my gaze to doorstep of hall, In a hope to see him . Before anything, I could understand to guards occupied space in front of me. I turned on my heels , feeling disappointed to walk . They followed me obviously, here to be married couple aren't supposed to see each other.

I walked to the window. Green fields Reflecting moonlight caught my attention .  Cold breeze blew touching them, Making a scenario of green ocean . my chamber had been on the first floor, with the facilities I could view far, farther.

I slide Out of my lose nigh dress , Getting into a   tight suit. I tied a Rope in the designed barriers of my balcony. Checking up the securities of my door, I finally leapt out.

It had already been midnight . I could predict , the feast by now had ended. The whole kingdom was in deep slumber . I ,For the last time wanted to feel the beauty of Mother Nature , Last time !

I struggled with the hard clutches of rope . It kept imprinting  Mark on my hands. I fastened my speed to reach the ground. When I was almost between floors, I felt the Rope slipped . that's when I realised , Rope that I had tied was not tight enough and now it's untied . I shut my eyes knowing that I'm going to get kissed by hard ground. I clenched my gels to stop the urge to scream as my back comes in contact of something extremely hard. Surprisingly I didn't feel pain as much as I was supposed to feel. My mind suddenly clicked the reality, that I never hit the ground. There was a hard pair of hand on my back. I could feel warm breath on my face.

Wait !

Who dared to touch the princess of Nil Adria . My eyes immediately Shot Open until I lost it .

I saw a man , extremely striking , looking directly into me. With his reddish brown eyes he continuously kept glancing mine , that I almost forgot breathing.  But that moment lasted so short that I didn't need to hold me , my breath for long. He put me down and unfortunately broke his magical trance . "Princess " he spoke with the Depth of his voice, he had extremely deep voice .

Who's the man?

How Could he touch me ?

" how dare you to touch me ? "

The fierce looking man ,said nothing . Instead stared at me blankly. amused little , he Did  have different glory on his face. His dark hairs floated in the thin air , His body language gestured royal  supremacy . " didn't you hear me? Don't you know the consequences of this ?Who are ôú? " he could get his hands cut off.

" Soldier "

"Then Guard the palace" I harshly said , Moving forward . I could feel him working with me as well "  úre guard ! "

I turned back to him, Wanting to know what the actually meant ."ôú äre getting married today ! The king thought of putting extra security, just in case...... " He said , Small curve played in his lips . As if it was giving me a mocked look , Like he already caught me . " Losers run away and I'm not a loser" I said , Rolling my eyes . His smirk Already grew wider " Impressive "

" That's why someone was getting hiding, in midnight?"

" I am not obliged to answer you " I said

" sure, Unless I inform úre king " What this Man wanted ? I wished to insert A dagger in his neck . " Fine" I snorted

" I just wanted to see my kingdom for last time" I tried my best to not to sound emotional . But! I guess I did.

" Alright " After breaking his long pause , he walked in front of me.

" What alright ? "I followed behind

" I'll help you"

" and how do I believe, ôú will not hurt me ?"

I mean I had never seen that man, Who assumed to be a guard here . He was giant. He could snap my head in a go . He could kidnap me , touch me in a wrong way .

" I won't ,Why would I trust you ? "

" Because ôú don't have any other option "  He shrugged his shoulder. I could guess him annoyed. " better than going with a stranger, I can go back" I said

" Sure "

" Wait ! I mean , if you do something stupid. It will cost a life" I finally matched his pace and walked by him . strangely it looked odd , even though he was just a solider. Ladies here were not Allowed to stand beside a man. Soldiers did guide us but from ahead .

We were in the other end of the palace. There was also soldiers present but not sufficient enough.

" Step here " He  Almost sounded like ordering.   I shifted My gaze to his hand , That he was Pointing ." Princess! " He Snapped me out of my thoughts again.

I did He just mean , me to stand on his hands . How I'm supposed to do that? Stand on a man's hand !

Were standing on a big rock , That he pulled next to the border wall . It was surprising that, It would have taken several men to pick it up and he had it all alone . " Just do it " He was

Already So tall that Getting up on him would easily a let me get on the top of the wall. He forward his other hand to me , as I entangled my hands with his . Warm sensation rushed my body. He's supported me to stand on his arm , while I struggled not to fall .He pushed me upwards. I got my hands on the thick wall, My legs quickly climbed up as well, you pushed them. My heart strangly tugged , Feeling his warmth fading away. I was Captured by cold .

Why?

Why his touch was like this ?

When every time anyone touched me I shivered, then why this man made me feel protective ?

" What if I don't to help you to get up and run away What if I don't to help you to get up and run away ? " I smirked

" Well ,  Then you clearly underestimated me " He chuckled as lowly as possible to avoid getting caught. But my attention already caught him . He had an incredible defined face . I begged to myself knowing what I was about to the next moment, not to . Unfortunately, my eyes traveled to his body .

I swear to lord ! He was nothing like any Greek god , as the stories told . He himself was the Greek god !

I felt bad , bad for him . I guess he would have been a great warrior but solely lacked opportunity. That was ultimately common because of being from common family and my unworthy rawboned brothers lead wars without even participating. I was so lost that I couldn't even realise that he already setting next to me.  "How did you do that ? " How Could it be so fast ?

" I'm not obliged to answer ôú" He smirked before jumping into the other side .

What are royal attitude he carried !

I wonder,What would happened if He was the king ? " Sure " I did I jump as well from the high wall But he got me before hitting ground . I again came in contact with his hot skin  but immediately let him go , he could be taking that in a wrong way . I was getting married after all . " Stop searching chances to touch me " I yelled . As I was out from the danger zone, I walked ahead " I don't need you anymore . Ôú Can go "

He wasn't talking anymore, I panicked thinking that He might have actually leave me . I turned back and got relieved .he was still following me but far from me ." Do ôú let other men touch ôú  as well ? " He finally broke his silence when I looked at him .  I chuckled " No one even can't dare to . I myself would kill them "

"So why I am not dead by now ? " he slowly whispered " am I special ? "

" don't even think that ! You caught me escaping and I would fall into trouble if you opened your mouth . If you think it otherwise then.... " I Took the dagger out and placed it on his neck " úre dead "

He chuckled again .

What was so funny?

Did he think that I was too tiny to kill him ?

" Exactly! " he spoke, answering my thoughts.

What is it to loud ?

" I don't even know the way to kill me "

Why? Were you any Special creature?

" Alright " anyway ,I didn't want to argue .

I rolled my eyes . I walked to a tree , seeing it and sat bellow it. We walked Through a lot of places , I was too tired to walk further.

This tree was surrounded by some flowers. Beside there was a river . When those blossoms of flowers hit me , I shifted my gaze to him . He was already Settled on the bank of river , staring it ,deeply lost .  His dark brown hair flew along with the cold breeze .

Long hairs !!

Only man of Royal all the family kept long hairs. It was not like that It was not suitable for him , It enchanted his male beauty . He actually didn't look a man soldier from any mean nor his attitude.  He looked like , he belonged from a royal family .  There is something wrong about him . Something inside me warned again and again. What was wrong with me ? " What's úre name ? " I asked .

" Edward " He now looked to me , I averted my gaze immediately. Everything started to became uncomfortable, I didn't want to stay with him anymore . " Are you happy to get married are you happy to get married ? "

What!

" excuse me "

" you heard me " he replied with this Royal attitude , Yet trying to sound soft .

" Will my opinion change anything ? "

" Certainly not ! But maybe if you actually did anything it could be ! I thought you were a strong lady " he stated, without any emotion. Why would he be emotional even ? For me ?

I expected this person, whom I meet few while ago would certainly understand me ? Why I am such an emotional fool ?

" actually, I don't care . I just need a nation to serve . It doesn't matter if it's mine or his "

" So you don't expect anything from him ? "

"What I am supposed to expect  ? He Already might have several wives . I'm just another pawn to increase his power " I smiled sadly

" What would you get serving his people? " he asked again but this time he was really curious.

" Peace "

He rose his eyebrow .

" it's a state of mind . Some get it ruling and some get it doing " For the First time I saw him smiling ., a really genuine smile . I felt , I made him proud and I myself felt satisfied with it . I smiled back to him . " You should go back , Your Highness "

Your Highness! Two words , from him and it felt so foreign.  Looked like he was actually starting to , I didn't know. Maybe respecting?

We walked back to palace .

I dig myself into the bed , as soon as I reached my Chamber .

Who was that man ?

He seemed strong , that I doubt I have ever seen any man like him . He could be a great leader I guess. But don't even have äny right on this kingdom änymore .

The story begun , When thät blood thirsty kíng was on the poínt of taking our kingdom. However he decided to set us free , with a high price that cost me .
