11 Carrying a woman

Unfortunately, Lee Shira did not let go. Instead, he tightened his hold on her and continued to walk while ignoring the other employees' shocked expression.

Hence, Aryen can only lower her head in helplessness. Her heart kept beating fast as if it would explode in fear while she remained in Lee Shira's arms.

Seeing Lee Shira carrying a woman, each employee's eyes widened in shock and their mouths fell open, their chins about to hit the ground in disbelief.

Knowing how Lee Shira hated any woman who tries to get close to him, they felt like they were hallucinating to see the fierce heir holding someone in his arms.

They even tried to pinch themselves to check if they were in a dream. Their gazes silently followed the direction Lee Shira was going.

What made them more curious was the fact that although the woman's face was covered by her hair, her dress did nothing to hide her perfect body. The type of body that would make any man drool.

Nevertheless, they didn't know whether to envy or pity Aryen for being with Lee Shira. She's partly lucky to be with the heir at the same time partly unlucky to be with a 'monster.'

Notwithstanding the gaze from the people at the 38th floor, Lee Shira suddenly stopped and turned to look at his secretary who seemed rooted on the ground.

His fierce eye made his secretary return to his senses and immediately stepped forward to stand behind him. Lee Shira continued to walk towards the elevator.

While waiting for them to reach the ground floor, Aryen, who has been silent the whole time finally raised her head but she still can't look at him straight in the eye.

"Can.. Can you put me down? I can.. Walk.." Her voice waz still shaking, but like the wind that touched his ear, Lee Shira did not react. He only tightened his arms to bring her closer to his body.

Aryen: "..." Damn it! Put me down!

Ayren gritted her teeth in annoyance. She wanted to run but with Lee Shira's arms that seemed unwilling to let go, she can only think of another way.

Moreover, even though Aryen knew it would be advantageous for her revenge if she's with Lee Shira; the news she heard about how terrible he was, made her feel frightened.

While lost in her own thoughts on how to escape, Aryen's cheeks began to blush after getting a whiff of his sweet scent. When the elevator dinged and Lee Shira stepped out of the elevator, she suddenly felt like falling.

Aryen automatically hooked her arms around his neck that made Lee Shira's body instantly stiffen. He suddenly paused his step and he coldly spoke, "Don't let go"

Aryen: "..."

Her face darkened, but she can't help her heart from pumping fast. Aryen doesn't want to hold him in her arms, but she heard distinct sounds of laughter and discussion that seemed to have been put into a halt.

Aryen can roughly guess, those people have been completely dumbfounded after seeing the fierce heir, Lee Shira, carrying a woman on his arms.

All the noise that Aryen heard eventually disappeared once Lee Shira passed by them. This made her decide to bury her face on the crook of his neck further due to embarrassment.

Lee Shira: "..."

With Aryen's unanticipated action, Lee Shira paused and subconsciously looked down at Aryen whose face is buried on his neck.

He can feel her warm breath touch his skin. No one knew what he was thinking while he inhaled the faint sweet scent on her hair.

As for his secretary, who almost collided on Lee Shira's back when he stopped, he instantly felt frightened. He tried to calm his shaking voice. "First master, did you forget something?"

However, Lee Shira did not speak which only made his secretary feel like dying. Thinking back if he accidentally touched Lee Shira when he almost bumped onto his back. He knew very well how his master hated anyone's touch.

Nevertheless, Lee Shira just continued to walk. But when he stepped out of the building and about to get in the car, he unexpectedly met Lee Rheyan who was about to leave.

"Hey brother! Why are you... Here??" Lee Rheyan voice trailed off at the end. He almost choked when his eyes fell at the woman in his elder brother's arms and made him petrified.

Lee Rheyan: "..." A woman?!
