6 One night in years ago (The First Fire-Part 1)

Knowing this will be the last time he can hug his precious daughter, he tightening his embraces. Feeling uncomfortable been squeezed so hard, Erin squirming a bit. Even in such a young age, she can sense the havoc emotion in her father. She stops struggled and turns her head a bit, she kissed her father's cheek.

Her action startled her father. Having her father full attention, she placed both her chubby palm on her father each cheek.

"Don't be sad Daddy. I love you. This muuuuchh"

She quickly spread her arm showing half circle to make her father understand her feeling. This earns the chuckled from her father.

"I love you more, pumpkin. This muuuuuuuuch"."

Still crouching, the young man imitated his daughter action. Erin laughing happily.

"Mommy! Look! Look at Daddy!"

Sophie remains standing looking at the front door. Erin frowned. Mommy is strange tonight. Why she did not copy the same thing like this. She doing it with Daddu every night before she goes to sleep. Her mouth starts trembling. She tugs her mother's hem harder.

"Mommy? Mommy? Are you mad at me?"

Seem her mother didn't give any response to her, she starts crying.

The young man smiley face disappeared and the anguish expression return. He hugs the small body quickly and kisses both the smooth cheek.

Take care of your mother and stay safe until I will return to you and your mother."

He quickly stands up and hugging his unmoving wife. Only the tears that keep coming from both her wife's eyes showing the turmoil inside her. He caresses her check.

"Sorry for putting this spell. It will go soon. I love you. Never doubt that even a moment. Take care of yourself and our daughter. Believe me, this isn't easier for me either. As soon as I finish my last duty, I will find a way to spend my last day with you. I promise you this."

Kiss her on the lip, he grabs his small beg on his feet and walks away toward the door.

"Daddy? Daddy! Where are you going.?"

Erin tugged her mother's hem harder and try to pull her toward the door so they can still catch her father. His father ignored her plead and opened the door wide open. From behind her father's silhouette, she saw a bolt of big lightning hitting the ground and soon followed by a rumble of thunder so loud it vibrates the floor she standing.

Worried about her father safety, she runs and felled when the second lightning come. She quickly closed both of her ears to stop the new incoming thunderous sound. Her screaming for his daddy was swallowed by the loud noise. The second thunder is more powerful, even lying after scrapping her knees, the vibrate floor from the sound getting more intense enough to chattering her teeth. Suddenly the noise was gone and the main door slam shut with a loud thud, as like there are strong wing snapped it. Ignoring the pain on her knees, she opened the door. Outside was pitch black. She can't see her father.
