1 chapter 1 : the hidden light

as caroline, a ten years old girl living with her busy parents watched kids play games some with their friends and some with their parents she stood there near her parents talking with their so called business friends , they were so distracted that they couldn't notice their daughters sadness . Later that day , a shining light was hidden behind some bushes in the playground , and surely it got carolines attention , she then followed the path she was given until she got to the bush, she wanted to explore what's behind the bushes but the voices of her parents telling her to come back were making her scared of the punishment she'll get if she disobeys and ignore her parents.

the next day , she woke up with excitement . why you ask? it's her birthday and every year she gets to go to her grandmother . she got dressed up and made her hair , she went downstairs to see her uncle leaning on the car waiting for her .She felt like the happiest person ever . little did she know it's gonna be the worst day ever.
