6 New home

Jack has completely healed after just a week. Because his doesn't have any living family the hunter association have decided to let Rose be his guardian. If he comes of age she will be his trainer.

It was noon. Rose was driving with Jack to their soon to be home.

"Well here we are." Rose said pulling the car to a stop on a rough driveway. "This is the house the association assigned to us."

The house was a two story wood type house. It was located in the outskirts of the city.

Because the association isn't sure how the side effects will affect Jack, they just made the necessary precaution to let him live at a distance from humans.

Rose looked at the 10-year old boy in the passenger seat. His hair is now starting to go back from white to black and his eyes are amber color. The boy has no reaction. It seems like he is a mannequin void of feelings. She looks at his facial features. Even as a boy she can see that he was rather good looking. Remembering the Bradford linages, they were blessed with beautiful features.

'This kid will grownup good looking. I'm afraid he will make many girls cry.' Rose thought and smiled internally.

"Well let's start unloading the luggage shall we." Rose said.

She exited her door and walked towards the trunk. Before opening she looks at the boy that was still sitting on the passenger seat.

Rose sighed. "Poor kid." She whispered to herself.

Rose opened the trunk and get their luggage. She was carrying big luggages in both hands and one on her shoulder. Jack exited his door and saw Rose walk by. His eyes went wide.

It was weird to see an 5'6" tall woman with slender body to carry big luggages by herself.

Rose smirked. "At last a reaction from you." She said jokingly.

Jack blushed and suddenly averted his gaze when he realized he was staring at Rose.

"Do you need any help?" Jack said with a low voice. But for Rose she can hear it, even if it was only a whisper.

"You can get the boxes in the trunk." Rose said.

Jack walked towards the trunk and started to get some boxes.

"Can you carry them?" Rose yelled from the front porch which was just a distance from the car.

Jack emerged from the trunk carrying boxes stacked up. He reached the porch and put the boxes down.

"I'm not that weak." Jack looked at Rose lazily. "And don't yell. I can hear you clearly."

Rose smiled at him and rustled the top of his hair. "Strong boy. Go get the other boxes."

"Aww. Don't do that. And don't call me boy." Jack said.

"Then what will I call you?" Rose said jokingly.

"Just call me Jack." Jack seemed irritated but truthfully he was just hiding his shyness.

"Okay Jack. Go get the other boxes. I'm going to get the things here inside." Rose said with a smile.

"Hmp." Jack humped. He ran back to the car.

"Shy little devil." Rose giggled. 'Looks like signs of some vampire abilities are starting to show.' She thought while looking at Jack's back.

Rose get the keys from her jeans pocket and inserted it in the keyhole of the door knob.

'Click' the door opened.

Inside was a fair size living room. Furnitures are cover with white cloth. Rose scans the place. She gets the things from the porch and puts it inside.

"It looks like we need to clean the place up." Rose said when Jack stepped in. "Let's use that strength of your in cleaning." She smiled at Jack and rustled his hair.

"Don't do that." Jack pushed away Rose's hand from his head and she giggled.
