Blood Bond.

A man dressed in a black tuxedo suit combined with a red vest and black shirt underneath. There were red spots on his black tie looking like blood spilled on his tie. 

His short black hair combed upward nicely. A pair of patient leather oxford shoes matched the black colour of his suit. 

A perfectly-looking handsome man dressed in perfect wedding attire stepped down from the carriage. His attire was the perfect match for an Imperial wedding with a vampire. 

As he stepped down from the carriage he could feel that the heat here was lower than Zenith, compared to the fact that it is now the middle of summer. 

The sky above his head is cloudy, blocking the sun from illuminating the whole empire with the sun's rays. 

He thought it was only rumours that the vampires use magic to keep the sky cloudy, since they love to live in slight light rather than strong sunlight. But it's not like they can't go in the sunlight, it's just that they prefer to live in the dark better.

Before his ocean-like blue eyes, there was a beautiful Palace. A palace, big enough to be called a small kingdom itself. The palace entrance was very spacious and well - decorated with dark flowers. The refined knights standing on guard are also increasing the beauty of the Palace. 

As he stepped down, most of the commoner's crowd cheered as they saw their to- be - emperor consort. Even though most of the crowd gave a big cheer, his heart sank because the nobles were definitely looking down on him.

He could feel the prejudice of the crowd. But nothing was in his hand. He can't say anything as he is not in that position. Soon, the standing on-guard guards announced his arrival in the palace. 

 "The first prince of the Zenith Empire, the future emperor consort, Eric Leonardo, arrived in the palace. Everyone, show your respect."

They announced as they bowed to show respect to him. Soon the other carriages also halted as their passengers went down. Their names were also announced as they got down from the carriage. 

 "The Emperor of the Zenith Empire, Alex Leonardo and the Empress of the Zenith Empire, Gloria Halen. The second prince of the Zenith Empire, Nolan Leonardo, and the last princess, Avira Leonardo have arrived." 

Soon a lady dressed in a purple butler's suit arrived and bowed before him before she raised to speak. Her brown hair tied into a ponytail falling down to her waist behind her. 

 "Welcome to the Rosario Empire, your highness. I'm Yura Abelin. Her majesty's aide and one of the dukes of this empire. I hope your journey was smooth. Her majesty is waiting for you inside the palace."

 "Please allow me to escort you there and your family to the wedding venue directly." She spoke as she looked at him with emerald green eyes.

 "Uh, Sure. Thank you for your help, Duchess."

As he gave her permission, she ordered a group of maids to escort the royal family of the Zenith empire to the wedding venue. While she personally escorted Eric to the inner palace. She led him from the long hall of the palace. 

The whole palace was decorated with dark colours. But it still screamed elegance and the Imperial status of the Rosett Empire. 

All the maids are well-dressed and trained well as they work with their heads down and wordlessly. While all the on-guards can be mistaken as statues. 

But a shiver went down Eric's spine as he felt the heavy vampire aura in the palace. From now on, he will be living here all alone. As they passed the big hallway, they entered a spacious area connected with the wedding venue. 

Where he saw a woman standing while looking toward them with her fiery red eyes and a smirk hanging on her lips. By her get-up he understood she was the one who would marry him.

She was wearing a sleeveless gown, whose black and red colour perfectly matched with his outfit. Her long black hair flowing down to her thighs behind her back as it was combed elegantly. 

A Gothic rosary choker with hints of silver giving off a slight sparkle. A two inch Gothic-style cross adorns the centre with a Garnet glass faceted stone. 

Jet-black faceted glass teardrops dripping hanging at the very end adorned her neck. A pair of black rose earrings covered her whole ear as a red love and black rose hung at the very end. 

A black and red rose bouquet was placed in her hand. And a long red veil along with a black liner trailed behind her.

She was tall herself but her red glass high heels made her taller. Since Eric was tall despite his weakened state, he managed to stand at the same height in front of her as they stood before her. 

Yura bowed before leaving them alone in privacy. Before Eric could speak up, he heard her speak up.

 "I see, so you are the 1st prince of Zenith." She said in a sarcastic voice as if it was a game, she would be enjoying it 

 "I'm Nashia Rosario, the empress of the Rosett Empire and your to- be- wife. I hope you had a safe journey here, my PRINCE. Everybody is waiting for us, let us go now." 

She said while holding out her hand toward him, waiting for him to hold it. She didn't even look at him properly.

He had been looking away due to her sarcastic tone. But he looked over when hearing the word "prince" and noticed she was holding out her hand. 

Her expressions are difficult to read. He reached out for her hand and held it. He also bowed to show his respect and replied slowly.

 "Yes, your majesty. I'm Eric Leonardo. The first prince of the Zenith Empire. I had a safe journey here. Thank you for your concern."

 "Before the marriage, I shall make it clear, this is only a political marriage." Nashia replied casually.
