Rejection

The young girl fell in deep thought as she pondered the reason behind the other party not showing themselves until now. 

And then she thought of something and said: "I heard that the continental battle between all the districts from the other continents would be happening soon; a couple of months after the new university students get accepted, they would select promising students from all the levels of strength to participate in an exchange to build up combat experience and also to test out the other districts' strength. Do you think this person might've decided to show his face now because he was also interested or participating in that event?"
