4 A change in character

With a dead body in his room, Michael had no plans in living here anymore. The corpse was already starting to smell bad and therefore he decided to leave his room. Yet the hallways were even worse as there was multiple dead bodies stacked upon each other. Each of them having a huge chunk of their throat missing. Despite that...

*Groan*

"Quite persistent I would say." Michael was astonished by their vitality. With even a chunk of their throat missing, they were still alive, albeit barely.

"Well thank you for the meal." That said, he casted his only offensive skill, Revolving Water Arrow. However there was no source of visible water nearby, yet the skill was still made.

'Wait if I remember correctly...wasn't there water inside of blood?' Although Michael wasn't a major in science, he knew some trivial stuff. And apparently, this knowledge did come in handy at one point, which is now.

With plenty of blood around him, he pictured in his mind of water leaving the blood. Then almost unbelievably, water came out and formed a ball of water, turning the blood dry.

"Wow, that's insane. I didn't think it would actually work. Well then..." Looking at the now Revolving Water Arrow and the four half dead zombies, he smiled cruelly.

Inside the boy's dorm, multiple loud groan was heard, scaring away many people. These people were the survivors of the lecture hall and determined that even the dorm was unsafe. Contradictory enough, Michael had already killed the most threatening zombie there.

*Ding* You have leveled up.

Using the three stat points, he thought about what to use it on. Strength isn't really that good. He had to be close to the zombies if he wanted to use this attribute correctly.

With the most threatening danger gone, Michael was relieved for the moment. He then straight away searched for a suitable weapon.

'What can a ordinary student in a college find as a weapon?' Walking while thinking, his eyes drifted here and there and spotted a fire extinguisher. A cheeky smile blossomed on his face and he thought that he was too smart for his own good.

'A fire hydrant and add that with my skills, I should be safe for the next few days even if I meet other zombies.'

Carrying along a fire hydrant, he once realized how useful this strange power was. The usually heavy fire hydrant was light like a feather. With that in mind, he was at the entrance of the boy's dorm with a jolly look until it turned grim. All around he saw zombies feasting on people. At minimum there was 3. There could also possibly be even more than that number if they were hidden away from his view.

'What can I do? If this was a game then...' Once he thought of this situation he quickly found the answer. Kiting.

By using his range attacks, he can kill them quickly and cleanly. If they got close, then he could just run away with his enhanced agility.

'Yosh.' Drawing out some water from the fire hydrant, he created a Revolving Water Arrow quietly. Waiting patiently while watching a hideous scene of a zombie eating a human's dead body, Michael waited for the key opportunity to strike.

~Meanwhile, from the zombie's perspective~

*Chomp Chomp* 'Hungry...Need more...' Raising his head to find more food, he noticed a human hiding near a building. But it was to late. Something fast approached him at a high speed and he felt a hole in his head.

'Eh?' Unable to comprehend with his limited intelligence, he fell onto the floor.

*Thud*

~Back to Michael's perspective~

'One down, two to go.' Michael quietly observed the other two zombies. They were to busy feasting on their food to even notice that one of them died to an unknown attack.

'Now lets create another one.' Michael tried creating three to finish this quicker but once he tried, he quickly felt as if he wasn't strong enough.

'Well two is good enough.' Michael stared at the Revolving Water Arrow near his hand. While he was looking at his arrow, he failed to notice that one zombie had finished his food and found Micheal near the door. The zombie then ran over to Michael, attracting the attention of the third zombie.

'Sh*t' Michael cursed inwardly. He immediately threw his arrows at the one running and it unfortunately both pierced the chest of the zombie.

'Time to dip.' Micheal soon found himself running up the stairs of the dorm and at the same time created another two arrows. Once he reached the third floor, he found a group of men gathered together.

Apparently these guys were the people who had hid away and survived successfully.

"Hey, it's Michael."

"What's that water thing next to him? And why does he look like he ate a bug?"

"Probably he had sh*t himself in his pants while he found those dead bodies."

"No no, he must've pissed and sh*tted himself from hearing the screams."

A few of them had rather rude comments but he didn't pay any mind to them.

"You guys should also start running." Offering a word of an advice, yet they didn't believe in him.

"Why should we? There's no zombie on this floor so we're safe here." One of them responded for the rest and

Michael didn't pause to explain to them. Rather he went past them and entered the emergency exit of the boy's dorm. Once he entered, he found a zombie girl naked and a half eaten body that was also in full nude.

*Swoosh*

The arrow shot at an fast speed and instantly drilled a hole in her head.

"Gosh, I never knew people did those things in the emergency exit." Although Michael had heard certain rumors about people doing those things, he never actually believed in it. Until now.

"Ghaaa!"

"Ahhhh!"

"R-run!"

Meanwhile Michael was still in disbelief, he heard the screams of the people that had just bad mouthed him and didn't even bother taking his advice.

"Well that's my cue to leave."

The once kind Michael had changed into a completely different person. No, rather it was the environment around him that forced him to change to survive in this cruel world.
