9 Chapter 9

Tunga was outnumbered but he fought hard to protect Neo against a foreign threat. He had been visiting the spot where he left her daily because he wanted to be there should June and Jack give her back. For years he returned back home alone except for that day.

"You are safe now" Tunga said to Neo "Do not fear, I bring you no harm" he assured her "I'm Tunga" he introduced himself "Your…"

"Badunda" Neo finished the sentence for him. He was shocked to hear her refer to him as father in their native language. Neo didn't know how she knew but she knew who he was.

"Yes," Tunga said. He was overwhelmed with emotions "I can not take you back to the humans. We will both die if I open the gate because they will get inside and we can't have that happen" he said.

"Gate?" Neo asked. Tunga held his hand out and a lightning bolt fence appeared. "This is the border of Odunda, it stretches far out so that the people of Odunda can move without fear of danger" he said.
