Only a day had passed since the initial attack and the surviving people of Odunda were forced to watch the Cyra and Msifiti destroy their buildings. Many pledged loyalty to Kaima out of fear, but it came with consequences. They were stripped off their essence which was their mind and soul. To be without essence was like missing important parts of what made an individual unique.

"Stop what you're doing," Kanta said to Tunga as he approached their temporary prison. Tunga was busy trying to understand the symbols on the cage. "Soon it'll only be the three of you in these cages," Kanta looked at Tunga, Sazhi and Una.

"You think that we'd let you take what's most important to us?" Sazhi said. "Without our essence, we are but empty vessels. Easy to be slaves until we die."

"So I assume that you choose death over submitting to our queen?" Kanta said.

"Give me death over captivity," Tunga said. Kanta laughed while clapping his hands.
