Dineo looked back as the Goddess Thandi’s river portal closed behind her. She was shocked to see Yhayha's lower body turned into a fishtail. Her own tail turned black as soon as she swam through the portal. They swam in an unknown direction which intensified Neo's fear more.

"I guess you really do adapt huh?" Neo said to Yhayha. She felt like a remora fish swimming under a shark when Yhayha swam right above her for protection. "It's beeping," Neo said while looking at the flashing red dot on the device Thandi gave her. It was to help her detect any jakanga technology. Thandi assumed that the Cyras would use the technology that belonged to the jakanga.

"We've got everyone who survived the ambush," a male voice said at a far distance.

"Hide," Neo whispered to Yhayha because under water Yhayha wasn't invincible. Neo looked around for a safe place for a big animal like Yhayha to hide but there was just open sea around them.
