One detail Neo remembered about Goddess Thandi was the fact that one shouldn't approach her without an offering. Neo had none so she begged as she knelt by the river. She knew she could get into the water if she wanted, but she wouldn't reach Zani unless the river goddess gave her access.

"I think it's working," Neo looked at Yhayha when the river water began to twirl. She got into the water first and Yhayha followed. Neo was concerned about Yhayha's breathing, but was shocked when the lioness adapted by growing gills.

"Welcome to river Zani," Nafida appeared. When Nafida dived deeper, Neo got on top of Yhayha because she knew she'd need to be flown up when they reached the Zani waterfalls. Neo found Goddess Zani waiting for her already.

"I see that you have a new friend," Goddess Thandi said as soon as Neo stood before her. "Doesn't quite belong in the sea," she observed.
