Una bumped against the shield he and many others were kept prisoner in hoping to break it open or at least crack it.

"Una, you will hurt yourself and I'll need you when we get out of this thing," Tunga said while touching the glass. Numerical codes and foreign symbols appeared wherever he touched it. He had a gift for figuring barriers out but he couldn't understand the symbols that appeared to him on the one that held them prisoner.

"The physical pain is nothing compared to the pain I feel within," Una said after he stopped bumping against the barrier. "How can I pride myself in being a guard when I failed to protect my mother?"

"Because it was an ambush," Sazhi said as he swam towards them. "We were ambushed by a foreigner we thought we were extending kindness to," he added.

"And I know that you blame me since he was my best friend," Tunga assumed.
