"No, dad," Neo said. "I don't mean to really kill me. I need you to pronounce me dead because I've got a feeling that if I go back to Odunda, I won't return."

"That's the craziest thing I've ever heard and your father isn't doing that," June said.

"I will try to go back, and if I succeed and don't return to land, people will ask about me," Neo said. "That'll open a can of worms that may lead to you all being arrested," Neo looked around the room. "Fortunately for us, pronouncing me dead won't be an issue because people know me to only have a few days left to live."
