"No one likes late people! Time is money!" said one of the crew to Alice.

"What's the point of you coming here it's too late. Dena has been chosen to be the main character in the soap commercial, so go home!" one of the crew grumbled at the same time shooing Alice away with a simpler sentence.

"But I didn't come to be the main star of this commercial, I want to try a side role, is there still room for that role?"

Alice's statement confused the crew. It wasn't normal to be scrambling for the main position, but Alice instead chose a co-star.

The crew thought for a moment. Those in front of Alice started to look around and noticed Alice's appearance which they felt was good enough to be a co-star in the big commercial they were working on.

"Alright. Let's usher you inside. The director is still there!" said a crew member who had sneered at Alice.

Alice and some of the crew walked up to the director who looked confused alone.

"Sir, this girl has come to try out the accompanying role in this ad. I think we'll just try her acting because so far there hasn't been anyone right to accompany Dena's role. What do you think?"

The crew who were with Alice whispered to a slightly chubby man whom they had called as director.

The man immediately turned his gaze to Alice.

After a while of researching and matching the criteria requested by the relevant company, the person in charge of being the director nodded his head in agreement.

"Please show a little of your acting!"

One firm sentence without further ado came out of the director's mouth.

Alice is happy because she still has the opportunity to show her acting skills to the director and crew there.

Alice was silent for a moment before falling into deep thought and quickly changing her expression according to their instructions.

Alice made her facial expression change in such a perfect way like a professional artist. Every eye that looked in awe at Alice who turned out to be very good at playing the role.

"Okay, enough! You come over here!" ordered the director named Levin.

Alice approached on command.

"What is your name, Miss?" asked the director happily. This time his attitude was very different from before.

"Alice Vianney Reksa," Alice replied with a smile.

"Reksa? Isn't Reksa Dena's family name? What is your relationship with Dena?" asked the director confused.

"Yes, that's right, Sir. Dena is my sister from the same parents," answered Alice with a slightly sad smile.

If it wasn't forced, actually Alice was very lazy to admit her relationship status with Dena or the Reksa family.

"Are you serious? Why doesn't anyone know that Dena has a sister who is also great at acting where have you been all this time, Miss?" director Levin asked Alice more enthusiastically.

"I lived in California for five years, Sir. I majored in acting and it's only been a few months since I came back to this country. So it's natural that no one knows, that Dena and I are sisters," said Alice.

With Alice's calm and straightforward demeanor and acting skills that they think can match Dena, the crew who initially underestimated and despised Alice changed their attitude to become more friendly.

"Okay, I accept you to fill in the co-star who will play a role in the ad with Dena. Congratulations!"

Director Levin reached out to shake hands with Alice while congratulating Alice for being chosen to fill the role in this ad.

"Thank you, Sir! I will try to be better in my role later. Once again thank you to the Director and all crew, thank you!" Alice smiled happily and thanked everyone who worked there.

"Alice, don't be late tomorrow, okay because tomorrow we will start shooting for product photos with the cast. Maybe you'll be paired with the male lead tomorrow. So, don't waste the opportunity, OK! Spirit!" said the assistant director to Alice with a smile.

Alice nodded happily. She left the Wing Entertainment building with a bright smile.

Finally, she got her first advertisement after she returned to her home country, Indonesia.
