1 1. What is this world ?

"Where am I? What is this place? How did I get here?" said the man dressed in a German WWII Commander uniform as he woke up in an unknown forest. Then, he suddenly regained his memory. "Ugh, I remember now. I was killed by those Gestapo."

Suddenly, he heard a mysterious voice. "You finally awake, Erwin," said the voice.

"Who are you? And why did I end up here? I was supposed to die," said Erwin.

"You are already dead in your previous world, but because of your interesting story and personality, we, the Consul of the Gods, made the decision to send you to this world," said the mysterious voice.

"This world? You mean this is not the same world that I used to live in?" asked Erwin.

"Indeed. This world is called Norden. Unlike your previous world, this world has magic, which uses a thing called Mana as a source of energy," said the God.

"So magic is real in this world. Then, can I also use it even though I came from a different world?" asked Erwin.

"Yes, you can. Before sending you here, I modified your body so it can adapt and store mana. It's up to you how you would use it. I also gave you a healthy body and your past memory so that you won't struggle too much. As a bonus, I also upgraded your weapon so that it can shoot an infinite amount of bullets. It can also turn into any tool that you need. Not only that, we also gave you a special skill called 'Deploy.' This skill can summon soldiers with the equipment that you want. However, you have to remember that the amount of soldiers that you call will take the same amount of mana. You can also get new skills with a method that you have to find out yourself. To see the skills and condition of your body, you just have to say 'status,' and it will show you all the information about your body that only you can see," explained the God.

"With all these gifts, do you have any mission that you want me to do?" asked Erwin.

"Just do whatever you want and whatever you think is right. I hope your journey will be filled with interesting stories that you can make us entertain. Good luck," said the God as its voice slowly disappeared. After that, Erwin tried to check his status.

"Status," said Erwin. A blue screen appeared in front of him, showing a bar and some words. "This bar must be the amount of mana that I have, and below it says 'deploy.' That must be the skill that I have. The God didn't tell me how to use that skill. I assume I have to say it like I do with that 'status' thing, maybe by imagining what kind of soldier I want."

"Deploy," said Erwin. Suddenly, a figure appeared with a WW2 German army uniform holding a rifle. It had a skull face with red eyes that looked like they were burning if you watched them from up close.

"This is really similar to what I imagined, even the uniform. Can this thing take orders from me? Maybe I should try giving a simple order first. Take a step forward," Erwin said, giving an order. The soldier took a step forward as Erwin commanded.

"It really did what I said. Should I try giving more challenging orders then?" Erwin wondered. "Shoot that tree over there," he said, pointing his finger towards a tree. The soldier again did as he was told and shot the tree that Erwin had pointed to.

"So, it can also aim and shoot. Now let's try giving a more complex order," Erwin said, curious.

Erwin gave orders to the soldier, instructing them to patrol a 50-meter radius around his position. He told them to shoot any hostile creatures they encountered and to guide any human-like creatures to him. If any creature tried to attack them, they were to immobilize it and bring it to Erwin.

The soldier obeyed Erwin's orders and went on patrol. Erwin observed their movements, impressed with their ability to follow complex instructions. He wondered if they were better than normal human soldiers.

Erwin decided to summon more soldiers to test their capabilities. He gave the command, "Deploy," and another soldier appeared, armed with an anti-tank grenade and a sniper rifle. He then summoned another soldier with a heavy machine gun and an assault rifle. Erwin monitored their status and noticed that different soldiers consumed different amounts of mana.

He wanted to summon a troop with even bigger weapons, but he knew it would consume a lot more mana. He considered his options carefully before giving the command, "Deploy." Suddenly, a tank appeared from below. Erwin realized that it consumed ten times more mana than a regular soldier, and he needed to be careful not to empty his mana reserve. He decided to unsummon the tank and gave the command, "Disband." The tank slowly disappeared into thin air.

As Erwin thinking his next move, he heard gunshots and human screams nearby. He knew he needed to investigate and took off running towards the source of the disturbance.
