Whit's Point of View

I've been working in the palace ever since Daku went missing. It's been what is it now, a week since he's been locked away somewhere. I miss him…I hope he's ok.

The palace has been lonely. I miss having Daku follow me while I work, and he's complaining about his life to me. I miss my man full of sorrows.

I've been stuck worrying about him. What if he's hurt? What if he's dead? What if I'll never see him again?

"Whit, is that you?" It was a woman.

" Uh, yeah, I'm Whit. What is it?"

" Daku has told me all about you , it's nice to finally be talking to you, I'm Rosealine,"

" He - he's told you about me?"

" Yes, a lot. I'm his fiance's mother-"

Oh , I see where this is going.

" I'm not leaving Daku for his stupid fiance!!"

" That's not what I'm saying. I've actually been trying to call the wedding off for you two to be together, but my daughter won't budge."

" I can tell. She's been fake crying for the past three hours,"

" I know, it's hard. But I'll do it, and tell me, do you love him?"

" Of course I love him!! He's my boyfriend!!"

" Wait, you two are actually together?!?!"

" Yes , we are."

" Finally!! Since when?"

" Since like an hour before he went missing,"

" Awe, you missed your first week together, once we find him tell him how much you live him, ok?"

" I was already planning on that,"

" Mother, when will Daku be back?" It was Daku's fiance. She was still fake crying.

" Soon hopefully, but not for you, " she looked at me.

" What do you mean, not for me? Daku's mine!!"

" Right now I think he has other plans," she looked at me again.

" He loves me, Mother!! Why do you always tell me otherwise?"

" I'm sorry, but he doesn't love you. He's in love with someone else."

" Why must you say that?"

" Because it's true, Eleanora."

" Whoever he's in love with, I shall punish!!"

Does she mean that?

Some girl with rare dark orange eyes and long black hair with gold streaks in it showed up. Her dress was also black, and she looked like she didn't want to be here. Something I learned about royals from working here , is that when they don't want to be here, it'll get bad. I'll just hope that she's like Daku and not very violent.

She was being escorted by a butler.

" I told you, why'd I have to come!! I'm not marrying anyone!!"

" Your father told me to escort you,"

" I don't give a damn!! Get me out of this hellhole!! I don't even like Eleanora!!"

" Your mother told me she was your friend ,"

" Don't listen to a word she says,get me out of here already,butler,"

" I'm afraid I can't do that,I'll pick you up in approximately three hours."

The butler left.

" Bastard!! Get back here!!"

She walked towards Eleanora.

" I was told to talk to you,"

"Oh, there you are!! I haven't seen you for so long!!"

" Yeah, whatever. I'm only here because my dumbass parents are making me do this."

" You're trying to find a fiance , correct?"

" I'm not , my parents are. I don't want to marry."

" You've been married before, correct?"

" Yes , I have. I'm not looking for loveless marriage like you , god, why am I still talkin' to you?!"

"My relationships with my fiance, Daku, is perfect!! And it's not loveless!!"

" It actually is loveless. Daku would never love you," I said , annoyed and agitated at her statement. I guess the thought of Daku loving someone else agitates me.

"See? The servant knows more than you!!"

" Don't compare me to the servant!!"

Was that supposed to be an insult?

"Well, he's right,"

" If you're looking for a fiance, why are you even here?"

" Because you're supposed to help me for some reason. My parents think you're my friend,"

"I can help you,"

" You're not helping me, Eleanora. I'm not marrying anyone,"

" I'll let you two handle this, " Rosealine looked uncomfortable and slightly scared, she probably just knows how royals are. She left.

" We can't have you staying a widow , now can we?"

" I'm fine as a widow, Eleanora!!God, why does everyone bring that up!!" She was more defensive than she was before.

" If she doesn't want to get married , she doesn't have to!! Eleanora, go back to fake crying over your loveless marriage." I said, I was getting pissed off at this point. I haven't been very 'Blissful' like everyone tells me I am ever since Daku went missing.

"The servant has common sense!! Can you please at least try to make any sense at all!!"

" I make sense!!"

" Uh, no, you don't. Why do I have to get married, again?"

"Because, you just need a husband!!"

" Well I had one, he's dead. That's the most you'll ever get out of me, you got it?"

Eleanora walked away. We were both really mad at Eleanora at this point…she wants to take my boyfriend away from me, and she wants to make this girl get married when she clearly doesn't want to.

" Damn!! She's really got some nerve,"

" I know…"

" You don't like Eleanora? What did she do this time…"

" She wants to marry my boyfriend, she thinks she's in love with him,"

" Wait, you're dating Daku Miseron?!"

I realized I had said it out loud.

I started getting red.

" N- no,"

" Don't worry about it, your secret's safe with me,"

" W- why do you hate her?"I already had an idea on why, though.

" Because she's trying to get me to marry someone. Everyone else in my life is, too. But especially her,"

" We'll get her back some way…"

"I like your personality, man!!"

" Well, I'm not usually like this. People tell me I'm blissful a lot, I never really liked people calling me that until Daku started saying it,"

" Blissful?Your boyfriend calls you that, aww…"

" It's not that cute…"

" Are you sure people call you blissful? You don't seem like it…"

" That's because Daku is gone,"

" You guys are adorable!!! I have to meet Daku,"

" You do, he's perfect,"

" You love him , don't you,"

I smiled."Of course I do,"

"I know that feeling…Now, what're we gonna do about Eleanora?"

" Haven't decided yet…but We'll do something,"

" Something, perfect…"

"Let's not do anything too bad, ok?"

" What, Do you use light magic or something? Why not?" Did she figure me out?

" Because, I just don't like hurting people,"

"Are You seriously sure you don't use light magic? "

" Y- yeah…"

" Be reckless, be careless!! Just like the rest of our side!!"

I have to act like I use dark magic, I'll at least try.

" O- ok, I will,"

"Good, now what's the plan?"

" I don't have a plan yet,"

"Edelweiss!! Come back!! Stop talking to servants!! " Eleanora annoyingly called.

" Fine!! I have to go, bye!! I'll meet you here tomorrow!!"

" Bye!!"

Edelweiss? Is that her name? It's like the flower.

I kept working for the rest of my shift. Once my shift ended, I went to the stables.

" Whit , have they found Daku yet?" It was Angela.

" No. "

" It's been a week, they'll find him soon."

" Yeah right, "

" Are you ok? You're not acting yourself. You're usually- "

" Blissful?"

" Yeah, blissful. How'd you know?"

" Everyone always says the same thing. It makes me mad. "

" You're really not ok, Whit. "

" Daku's gone!! How can you just expect me to be ok?!"

" You guys are adorable , he'll be back, "

" I love him, Angela."

" I know you do,"

I had to sweep the stables. I was filled with rage.

" Stop sweeping so violently, Whit!!"

" Sorry, Angela!!"

I kept on sweeping violently. Why can't Daku be here? Why did that douchebag have to hurt him?

" Whit!! Stop it!!"

" Sorry, Angela."

I miss Daku…
