I ended up getting an Uber and going home, too embarrassed to look at my dad in the eyes.

The house was oddly quiet for once this week. Since, my dad and Mary Ann had announced their wedding the house had been overrun by mini Gremlins aka my cousins. So not having them here was relaxing and slowly I took I drifted off to sleep.
