With some nervousness, Terrence gained confidence in himself and took his cane to left his room and look for the alpha, he remembered very well his aroma.

A scent not very common for an alpha; peppermint, the smell of nature, the scent of life…. Something that Terrence would never forget. It was common knowledge that the alphas have a strong smell but Daemon was different, his scent was the complete opposite and unique.

After going through some corridors Terrence finally found him.

Blausen threw the last intact vase in his room, he was upset, well actually it was more rage than anything and his room showed his anger in every corner.

But it was a natural behavior, as the proud alpha and most attractive prince of his pack, Blausen didn't know how could he have been so SILLY and not have noticed before that Terrence was someone so special.

Blausen started to wonder if Daemon had deceived him from start to end, maybe he had never been interested in Erick and only pretended to make him believe so…

«But for what reason? Maybe... Daemon didn't want me to conquer Terrence»

Blausen was making a big mess in his mind with his fantasies, and that angry expression remain on his face.

He thought that everything was a trap from Daemon; however, something wasn't right. When both of them saw Erick for the first time Blausen noticed Daemon's expression, his rival's eyes were full of interest so... why had he changed his mind?

He cursed the albino once again while he growled between his teeth, all the strange events since Terrence's arrival crossed his mind, Blausen suspect that something was strange...From the way his singing made the sprouts bloom without any effort, to his transformation into a black wolf which had become extinct when the last king of Reinheit passed away... Nevertheless, he could never imagine that he was the lost heir to that kingdom.

He regrets his decision to play an absurd and stupid bet with Daemon because thanks to his foolishness he had lost everything...

When the tree recognized Terrence as the heir, Blausen's entire body vibrated, he was amazed by the beauty of that tree coming to life and by that fragile and at the same time strong omega standing in front of the tree, looking more attractive than ever.

He wanted to run to him but for some reason, he couldn't move, every part of his body didn't respond to him.

All noticed that Terrence looked pale and Blausen wanted to take advantage of that opportunity to recover the boy's heart that Daemon tried to take away from him. Unfortunately, once again Daemon had been faster and in a matter of seconds, he was already next to him.

The image of the two of them walking away without looking at him, leaving him behind... That left a terribly bad taste in his mouth and an invisible pressure on his throat made it impossible for him to even swallow a little saliva.

There could only be one explanation for the albino's behavior and that was that Daemon knew that Terrence was the son of the last princess of Reinheit, it was the only trustworthy reason that came to his mind because otherwise...

What other reason could that cold-heart prince like Daemon have desires to marry someone…like Terrence?

A knock at the door makes him come back to reality and avoid the alpha throwing another object to release his anger, he left what he had in his hand on the bed and went to open the door but it was a surprise to see who it was.

"What a nice surprise"

"Hello prince, can I come in?"

Blausen smiled at that question because he would never refuse to let that person in, without waiting much he stepped aside allowing that person to finish passing to close the door.

"Looks like you're in a bad mood" mentioned the guest who was covered with a large cape.

The unknown guest looked at the prince's destroyed room and mock him.

"Yes, after all, not every day you find out that you missed the opportunity to marry the only heir to Reinheit"

"HAHAHA yes you're right, you had bad luck... but it should be fine"

"Fine? How can you say that to me? My dream was always to have this kingdom... And this year It was going to be a possibility but Terrence showed up and everything was ruined!" Blausen raised his voice in annoyance.

"Do you really think so? I'm pretty sure you still have a bigger chance to be the king"

"What?"

"Have you really not realized yet? Or are you actually that stupid?"

"You…" Blausen nearly barked at the bold way that person had called him stupid but he stopped when he look those eyes shining with cold malice.

"You have to be more observant, Terrence likes you, his highness… more than he wants to admit and more than you can see"

"I already told you to pay attention to your surroundings"

There was a long silence in the room while Blausen tried to remember each of the minor's expressions, he had also thought that Terrence liked him but he still wasn't sure about that.

"Do you really want to be the king of Reinheit or not?" that phrase echoes in the room.

"Of course I do! But… how can I do that?"

That person with the hood showed a smile, but not just any smile, it was one where you could see the evil on his soul, a face deformed by something very dark that lived deep in that person.

Without another word, that hooded person approached the Prince to whisper something in his ear. At first, Blausen listened attentively, but soon his expression distorted in surprise and also in horror.

"You've lost your mind?"

"Oh come on prince… Do you think all the great kings were powerful for being honest?" a laugh escapes from those evil and poisonous lips "how unexpected, I thought you wouldn't mind doing wherever it takes to get what you want"

Blausen swallowed a little saliva while he clenched his fists at those words because it was true, though; what that person had proposed to him was something that not everyone was capable of doing.

"Are you sure it will work?"

"Well, you don't have many options, do you?"

Although Blausen didn't entirely feel good about what he was going to do, he was pleased to hurt Daemon, he liked to see him out of his comfort zone and Terrence was the only thing that shuddered his rival's world... so he would use all possible means to see Daemon suffer.

He accepted the help of that person without knowing that it would be one of many bad future decisions.

As night fell Blausen couldn't sleep in his new room, he wanted to think a little more about the plan he has to do to gain the kingdom. Deep inside him, he felt that it was wrong but it seemed that fate was pushing him to do it.

As he couldn't sleep Blausen left his room and went on a stroll, he only turned a few halls and there was he... in front of him, Terrence shows...

"Your highness?"

My feet stopped immediately, I couldn't believe it… I was looking for Daemon but then why did Blausen's voice appear out of nowhere?

"G-Good evening, your highness"

Leva explain to him that both Blausen and Daemon were also considered princes of their own packs so he had to show respect to them.

"You don't have to be so formal… although I was too"

"Well, we can drop the formalities... If it's ok with you… but now I think it's inevitable"

Blausen's words managed to make my heart explode, it was not possible to get rid of those feelings overnight... although I had finally gathered the courage to be with Daemon now that I was in front of Blausen I couldn't deceive my heart.

I felt my face getting hot as the footsteps of the opposite approached me.

"Then your highness… Can I just call you by your name?"

My voice was full of embarrassment at my request, I didn't understand why I wanted to hear confirmation and soon after that, I hear the answer.

"Of course, Terrence"

Despite the gloom of the night around us, I could clearly see Terrence's face with that blush on his cheeks.

It was fascinating...

I hadn't noticed before, but that person was right, I could still have Terrence back.

Since life was pushing me toward him, there was only one thing I could do.

Follow the rhythm of destiny...

I finished approaching him only to hold his thin hip with one of my arms, anyone in love could resist a hug from his romantic interest, and Terrence was no exception, I leaned to him leaving my face in one of his shoulders, and modulated my voice to sound as sad as possible.

That whisper spoken with sadness and a touch of longing tone were enough to melt Terrence's heart not to mention that he had already exploded from the embarrassment of that sudden embrace.

"B-B-Blausen…what's wrong?"

"I lied to you… I lied about my engagement… I was upset because you left me… I thought I wasn't the only one to feel a special connection but you accepted Daemon's proposal and… you left me without looking back… that... was very painful"

Every word that came out of Blausen's mouth was a lie, a poison for the kind heart of the omega, a sweet and soft poison that gave him more than just hope.

"Of course not… your brother is in love with Daemon and I am with you… we only decided to lie to make you jealous… hoping that both of you would come back to us, forgive me… I wanted to hide my feelings and wait for a little more but I can't…" Blausen separated a little from his body and approached the minor's lips to whisper his name "Terrence"

The Omega didn't know what to think or what to say, he had expected to hear those words from the first moment but now he just felt bad... he really felt dirty and the worst trash in the world because he had wanted to reciprocate Daemon's feelings but there he was wanting to be in Blausen's arms a little more.

That whisper that left Blausen's lips with a fearful tone made Terrence feels his heart stop for a moment, all around him was frozen in that time and he only came back to reality when the breath of Blausen was so close to his lips that he couldn't think properly, however, as if an invisible force pushed him to act, his body moved on his own and he ended up joining their lips in a kiss.

Blausen smiled victoriously as their lips touched.

The kiss started slow however Blausen wasn't the time of alpha who would kiss softly and soon he changed the rhythm, it wasn't an innocent kiss, in a matter of seconds his tongue found its way into Terrence's mouth. Blausen started to release his scent because he had felt Daemon's scent very close to them and even though Blausen didn't know where he was hiding, he wanted to give Daemon a good show at that moment.

With all the intention of making Daemon suffer and get angry at him, Blausen covered Terrence with his sunflower aroma, the next day he would surely receive more than a blow but Blausen didn't care.

Neither of them knew that they were in front of Daemon's room and that the prince, feeling the delicious aroma of jasmine that Terrence gave off, had used his little rationality to use his ability to see through walls.
