"What are you doing, Miss Laras?"

I looked at the Office Boy, who reprimanded me as my hand continued to grip the spatula in charge of turning the omelette that was currently cooking in the hot pan.

"I'm making an omelette," I said stiffly, returning my attention to the pan.

Rafan made work really hard this morning, starting with going to the nearest supermarket to get eggs, milk, spices, and other ingredients for the omelette he ordered.

"Mr. Rafan requested that you prepare an omelette. Why didn't you simply ask Office Boy ?"

I can only respond with a stupid smile; it's difficult to work with others, I can't complain, and it's even illegal to protest.

"Let me assist you" said the Office Boy.

"No sir, I'm almost done," Laras replied, turning off the electric stove, taking a plate, and transferring the omelette into the plate, arranging it as neatly as possible; earlier, She had tasted the omelette and thought it tasted pretty good.

"Then, excuse me"

"Be careful with the omelette"

I have to quickly give the omelette to the boss, even though he doesn't know whether the interview is over or not, which I hope it is, so the boss can eat the omelette while it's still hot.

Bruk!

I gripped the tray containing the plate I was carrying tightly, knowing that if it fell down, I'd have to re-make this omelette. Luckily, my hand was strong when my shoulder collided with someone else, and I almost remade this omelette.

"Oops, sorry, sorry," we both said after accidentally bumping into each other's shoulders.

After making sure my omelette was safe, I lifted my head and saw the person who had collided with me in this narrow alley, it turned out to be a man, I believe it was Javas... What? Javas?!

"Hey! We've finally reconnected "Javas spoke confidently, his surprised expression brightening with a smile when he saw Laras.

It's as if the shoot of being loved by a priest has arrived... He was just looking for the woman's whereabouts, and now she's right in front of him.

In contrast to Javas, Laras appeared to be gradually coming to his senses, her expression turning gloomy as She looked coldly at Javas, who was standing with a sweet smile on face.

"Do you work here or are you looking for work?" asked Javas, breaking silence, but the woman never answered her question, instead looking away from the other side.

Javas attention was drawn to the tray that Laras brought. "I think I'll work here," he said again, but Laras ignored him.

"Hmm.... I... How are..."

"Exuse me!"

Laras cut him off and walked past him, surprising Javas and resuming his pursuit of her. "Hey, wait!" he exclaimed as he aligned his steps.

"Are you still remembering me?" Javas inquired once more as he continued walking.

"You don't recall?"

"It's me, Javas."

"Hey! Why are you remaining silent?"

Laras continued walking with Javas next to her, babbled annoying questions for Laras to hear, until the woman walked into her boss's room, which Javas didn't notice and continued to follow the woman while babbling many questions.

"Are you sure you don't remember me kissing you at the dance?"

Javas noticed Laras stop walking, her eyes glaring at him, Javas realized he had said the wrong thing and when the man looked around him, he realized he was no longer in a hallway, but in a large room he had previously entered.

The silence grew thicker in the room, and the stares of several people who heard his words made Javas a spectacle for Rafan, Reno, and Laras.

Stupid! What exactly am I saying?!

Laras cynical stares persisted, as did Rafan's cold stare and Reno's perplexed stare.

"What is this?" Rafan inquired coldly.

Prak! Laras stood up straight again as the sound of the tray being placed broke the silence. "Nothing, sir, sorry to bother you." Laras stated firmly before turning to face Javas. "Excuse me for a moment, sir," Laras said again as he walked out of the room, his gaze fixed on her.

"Wait. What's the real story here?" Rafan inquired once more, preventing Laras from departing.

"There is nothing, sir!" Laras insisted once more and then walked out, really out of the room, followed by Javas.

"To whom are She's speaking?" Rafan inquired solemnly to Reno who stood beside him after Laras and the man he didn't know had left his room.

Reno replied, "The first man you interviewed earlier, Sir."

Rafan's brow furrowed as he heard Reno's response. "Javas?" he confirmed.

"Yes sir."

Isn't it true that I kissed you at the dance?

Rafan clearly heard the words of the man named Javas, and for some reason it seemed to stick in his mind now, filling his mind with question marks, curious about the man named Javas's response to his words.

"Didn't Mr. Rafan order an omelette?" Reno inquired after seeing the tray on which Laras had placed the omelette.

"Omelettes?"

Reno nodded, "Yes, Miss Laras place the omelette on the table, I believe it is for Mr. Rafan."

"Oh yeah, I told Laras to make me an omelette," Rafan admitted. "What happened to the omelette? Please give it to me."

Reno immediately placed an omelette plate in front of his boss, along with a fork and knife.

Rafan began moving his fork and knife, feeding the omelette into his mouth; one second later, he was still feeling it; two seconds later, his face wrinkled; three seconds later...

"This..." Rafan hung his head, along with Javas' resurrected question. "This isn't the omelette I want, have her to make it again!" exclaimed Rafan as he set his knife fork down and pushed the plate away.

"Oh yes, sir, I'll tell La later..."

"Now. I need you to tell Laras right now! "He was adamant. "I'm hungry, do you want me to wait again ?" Rafan grumbled.

"Okay, I'll go find Laras now."

Reno quickly exited his room when he heard Rafan's rambling, which seemed to be irritated with something.

"Call Laras over here!" said Rafan before Reno left the room. Reno saw him and knew immediately that Laras would be finished in the hands of his boss today.

***

"What are you doing this ?!"

Laras said in an irritated tone, her face not playing as she looked at Javas, who was now in front of him, after walking for a long time to find a suitable place for them to talk, finally the small garden behind the office became the place Laras chose to talk with Javas.

"I'm..."

"You're so proud of kissing a woman's lips that you think it should be announced to everyone, huh?!"

Laras is upset and embarrassed right now, the woman appears to be pouring her heart out, and the forgotten memories are resurfacing, turning her even redder and making her want to curse Javas.

Thanks God for hearing my prayer and bringing together with this jerk with no manners!

"Yeah, I know so..."

"It's good you know, you've embarrassed me, can I report you to the police or not?"

Javas was taken aback by Laras' final words; it appeared that the woman harbored deep resentment and resentment towards him.

"Yes, I know, I'm sorry... I'd like to say sor..."

"Laras!"

Both Laras and Javas turned to face the voice calling her name, Reno... it was the man who had cut them off in their conversation.

"Turn around right now, Mr. Rafan is in his room right now, he's waiting you!" Reno said firmly as he turned to leave and I knew new problems were on the way as soon as he saw Reno's determined expression and tone of voice.

What's again ?!
