Chapter 31 - Gene-Seed Project

After Enzo went to hell, Kitty and the rest of them were worried about the situation since they don't know what to do at times like this. They were still inexperienced at what the world truly is and the countless things that they hadn't seen before.

"Should we call the professor!?"

Kitty asked in panic feeling obligated to do something but before anyone could say anything immediately saw a portal form once again making everyone raise their guard. They soon saw a group of people stepped out to recognize Enzo and the rest of them except for the white haired skinned and the tall blonde behind them.

Feeling the fresh air for countless Centuries, Lady Death couldn't help but look around like a curious child seeing the verdant grass and healthy trees brimming with endless leaves unlike the dead and eerie withered forest from hell. She was overwhelmed by a wave of emotion but held herself to not even though Enzo saw this and saw her like a curious cat imagining cat ear on top of her head.

"Enzo? What happened? It's only been a few seconds since you left?"

Laura asked since kitty was too stunned at all the things happening. Unlike her, the wolverine's daughter was an experienced killer and was subjected in a manner of training making her act with semblances of self control despite having the same personality as her father.

Hearing her words made Enzo brow rise and Illyana beside him to be shaken by the news, making him rubbed her back to calm down. The two girls were confused at what's going on while Enzo looked back at them and said.

"Well things, you girls can follow me as I tell you what happened."

Enzo walks towards his daughters, taking them into his shoulder as they head back and report what happened with Colossus and the professor, which made everyone shocked after learning about the truth. As her brother, Piotr was extremely angry upon seeing her little sister robbed of her childhood and innocence but was comforted by his sister.

After Illyana reunited with her brother began acquiring help from him to settle back into human society. Colossus still needs time in getting used to seeing his little sister growing to the near the same age as Kitty who was trying her best to make her comfortable even Laura joined in to help her since even though she brash and distance was still a kind young girl.

Enzo trusted them to help Illyana more than he could it best to let her surround herself with people that she can talk to. He still felt bitter that she needed to move forward as a teenager now. Now, he was carrying Scarlet and Nova on his shoulder since it's been a long time since they were with each other.

Natasha and Ororo played with the children while Lady Death still tried to wrap her thoughts at the fact she was truly on earth. Enzo made sure to give her more appropriate clothes since she wouldn't look decent only wearing skimpy outfits.

"There's so many unbelievable things that hearing and actually seeing are completely different."

Lady Death commented walking around the artificial island of Utopia. She could see people with different races and color who looked monstrous yet treated like any other human. There are also many different faiths that would be a heresy and result in public execution if they were found by the Vatican. Though, it is an exaggeration still feels that the world has reached a level of understanding unlike the ignorant of the past.

Enzo was watching her, seeing the intriguing in her eyes made him smile while behind him were Natasha and Ororo playing with his daughter. He gave her a tour of the place teaching her things about the world, especially the advancement of technology.

In the times, Lady Death had lived food and tasteful meals were scarce where only scraps of bland meat would be their meal even if she was noble. When Enzo's daughters requested for an Ice scream from the truck passing through quickly both the two each ate their ice cream making Lady Death curious with Enzo handing her one look at it trying to figure out how to eat it and just watch at how the children do it.

Her eyes lit up when tasting the sweet for the first time delight how it felt in her tongue making Enzo smile. He decided to tell the other girls what happened later when they met up back at their home together. After a while, Natasha and Ororo took the two children leaving Enzo with Lady Death bringing her to the most beautiful view and that was the highest peak of the central tower within Utopia where the two looked into the sunset making Lady Death in awe.

"So beautiful….I still can't believe that I'm actually out of hell."

She said leaning in the railings feeling the strong breeze and freshness that was brimming with life unlike hell where burnt smoke and death. This is the first time she felt at ease bringing the memories lost countless centuries ago. Enzo leaned with her and said.

"And you won't ever experience it again, I promise you that, Hope."

He gave his vow to her that made the stone cold woman to warmly smile leaning her head against his arms that soon wrapped around her body.

"I want ten."

Enzo paused for a moment hearing Lady death words making him confused.

"Ten what?"

"Children, of course."

Her words made his mind go blank since it felt too unreal while Lady Death was serious since she desired to experience something that she lost after being trapped in hell.

"Wait wait, are you rushing? Not that I mind but having kids now would be big responsibility and yours till hadn't set-"

"I know, you fool! I'm just saying that I want ten in the future!!"

Enzo was panicking a bit when Lady Death shouted what she meant that stopped him from talking. He stopped before heartfully laughing seeing her flustered state that annoyed Lady Death. After a few minutes, Enzo stopped laughing and settled down heading back home to their mansion which happens to be the currently terraformed Mars.

This is the next to the expansion of the Imperium of Man across the Galaxy where it would be the world for mutants completely separating them from mankind to ensure both have separate development and evolution but still have interaction via Utopia and Citadel.

Enzo was well aware of the city within the moon because his library using the mind stone still let them for now and would visit it once everything is clear waiting for the Kree to invade the Inhumans before assisting them. At the very least, he can offer something and have diplomatic relations with them in exchange for assistance in the further development of mankind.

The once dead wasteland of mars was slowly and gradually turned into something similar to earth. He had used a bit of Power Cosmic and mutant power to help speed up the process but made sure to let it develop in a natural way.

Lady Death is amazed by the home that her master and lover had as they went inside to be welcomed by maids and butlers.

"Feel free to look around, I'll be in my laboratory."

"Come mommy Hope! I want to show you around!!"

"Yeah come come!"

She nodded, smiling at the two children and dragged her around the whole place since it was extremely large with several rooms even though most of them would sleep with him.

"We'll be in the living room watching some movie. Feel free to join us."

Natasha and Ororo who can finally have some entertainment since they mostly train and fight in hell. This is the perfect time to clear their minds. As a side note, they hadn't told the others what happened to them since they'll end up going straight to know even though everything is under control.

Enzo will just inform them when they return home and decide to head into his laboratory. Though he has endless ideas does not mean it could become reality with the right tools and progress which is why there is still some trial and error involved in many of his experiments. He went to a large workshop with countless mechanical parts and tubes containing human cells.

His woman isn't too keen on how he is experimenting on humans but Enzo merely explained that it is artificial tissues with no life in them. Though they are reluctant to accept his words, he isn't planning on harming anything.

He went to the computer where all the data of his research was located. When he's not around the clone would normally be tasked with handling them but Enzo prefers to do it acting like some hobby for him and feels rewarding when he accomplishes his goal.

"Raphael, give me the latest report in regards to the Gene-seed project."

Enzo may have an army of monsters that he can spread as a disposable creature and still can't see them as symbols for mankind's unity. He wanted to create the perfect army that would be the symbol of the empire that he's building. The people of earth already started to cast their vote for intergalactic leader which happens to be Enzo.

It sounded narcissistic since he's somewhat influenced their choice but this is the only way to guide them for a better future. He decided to change the name of the empire that would fit and wait at least a decade until the progress slowly brought the whole world into a new era. Though there are still heroes like the X-Men and Avengers, the space Marines are for large army and overall defense forces.

Like Odin said, A wise king never seeks out war, but he must always be ready for it. He is preparing for the possibility of war against other alien races. He may have a demon army but they're not for humans and only be used against supernatural threats as well as balance things out.

[ Everything that had accumulated from the knowledge of Mutant genes, Celestial evolution knowledge, Eternals genes, Asgardian biology and Kree knowledge had been assimilated. All aspects of the Gene-Seed are perfected and now the only thing needed is time to create the artificial organs. ]

Unlike the super soldier serum that Captain Roger injected, this one would give the soldier extra organs with additional functions turning them into perfect soldiers.

Like The God emperor quote, 'They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mold them and in the furnace of war I shall forge them. They shall be of iron will and steely sinew. In great armour I shall clad them and with the mightiest weapons shall they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight them.

They shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines...and they shall know no fear.'

They'll be the perfect soldier in combat and acquire the utmost discipline. Though, Enzo would make sure that they still have semblance of humanity since he would have created an army of robots if he wanted an unfeeling army. Still they shall have duty above all else when needed.

'They're at least in the Ultimate Class in terms of my personal ranking.'

Enzo thought having gauge the overall strength of each individual they are capable of since they will surpass Captain America in every aspect possible. The rank he made was to see the level of threat each individual that he'll face and doest determined they're destructive capabilities since some threats can be the scheme of the enemy.

It started from Normal Human then Low class Mortal

- Without any power and enhancement yet showcase beyond normal feats. Example: Hawkeye, Falcon, Punisher, Daredevil, etc

Middle class Mortal

- People that are given superior strength via mutation, serum or supernatural prowess. These people are capable of unbelievable feats that go past the limits of mortals. Their threats and power vary but the point is it will result in casualties to take them down.

High Class Mortal

- Power scales vary from small buildings to small city blocks.

Ultimate Class mortal

- Power scales vary from large city blocks to entire cities.

Super class

- Power scale vary from small region to Multi continental scale

Transcendent class

- Power scale from moon level to dwarf star

Calamity class

- Power scale from small star level to multi solar system

Apocalypse class

- Power scale from small galaxy to Universal scale.

Extinction class

- Multiversal scale destruction.

If Enzo placed himself at the threat to the reality of his in then it would be at a peak Apocalypse class. This rank still does not mean to be taken as face value since they're varying degrees that can change it like take for example Captain America, he would be around a Middle class without the shield or weapon and can rise if wielding his iconic shield.

Regardless, Enzo began formulating the plan that would take at least a few decades to accomplish as he needed to find people who volunteer the space marine program.

'How about the progress of the Adeptus Custodes along with possible candidates for the Primarchs.'

If he would create an army of super soldiers then there would be special forces along with the general that would lead them. He doesn't plan on making children on a test tube any time soon and aims to find perfect candidates for the Primarchs.

[ Adeptus Custodes is almost completely the same as the Gene-seed. Primarchs candidates are currently scouting different planets for them. However, there is one close to the intended target of your Clone that had infiltrated a earth like society. ]

Enzo nodded hearing Raphael speak, letting her manage his clones scouting for potential planets to have diplomatic relations along with candidates for his strongest soldiers that would be the peak of all Space Marines, the Primarch that would become his children by fusing them with his DNA.

'Hmm, I guess I'll switch with that clone….'

He's clone is still imperfect, unable to fully wield his might and saw it as a perfect opportunity to find candidates for his future army as well as form diplomatic relations with the planet. After a while, Enzo continued his progress for the future blueprint then heard the door open to turn to see Susan, Jean, Wanda, Galacta and Rogue who went inside asking what happened.

They were informed by Ororo along the way telling them the recent incident which made them immediately go to Enzo. It took some time to calm them down but eventually Wanda, Jean and Rogue went to see the children leaving only Susan and Galacta looking at the blueprint he made.

"What's this project you're working on?"

Gali asked, noticing the mechanical army of numerous weapons, armor and robots. Though Enzo felt deep hatred in creating machine always buried it deep inside him but now it somewhat hurt him.

"Ah I almost forgot, I was wondering if you could give me those ideas that I made. It's for an army of super soldiers that I plan on introducing to our intergalactic empire."

"You're really going hard in this project huh? You did mention making an empire for mankind. Have you decided on a name for it?"

Susan said checking the files that had biological studies in many creatures that Enzo clones understand and encountered. Though they're some creatures more complicated than others, especially Asgardian as they are strong antibodies that dispel his parasite with their magic. Most, if not all of his parasites are physical and biological which couldn't easily counter magic.

"You tell me, I was thinking of my hero name and another world. Maybe like the Archeapeiron Empire which means the beginning of everything."

They nodded while Susan read the files, surprised by all the details and augmentation that she demanded to tell him everything in detail which he happily explained. After a while, the two helped him in discussing improvement to his project before heading back to find Lady Death, Jean, Wanda, Rouge, Natasha and Ororo were watching a movie.

Lady Death merely watched out of curiosity then noticed Enzo arrived and said.

"Welp, I'm going to prepare some popcorn and maybe some pizza then."

He said going to the kitchen that was close by and gave the other the food joining them. Lady death took the slice and took the all meat pizza while Enzo devoured the pineapple pizza much to Rogue disgust.

"Can't still believe you eat that."

She's one who is anti-pineapple pizza with Enzo shrugging it off since he doesn't care much about it and enjoyed it even from his previous life. Lady Death enjoyed the pizza, finishing it in second and surprising Enzo who quickly commented.

"Damn that was quick, I can see that you enjoy the taste of pizza."

"So far every meal I've eaten has been delightful."

"Then we're going to bring you on a trip tomorrow and let you have a taste of everything!"

Rogued happily exclaimed while raising her fist into the air in excitement. Enzo shook his head before letting them have time to get to know each other while continuing to watch the movie.

After a while, the girls went to sleep with Enzo having Galacta and Wanda as the one in his arms while Susan on his chest while behind Galacta was Jean and Wanda was Rogue while Ororo and Lady death slept on her own room since they're someone who isn't that clingy to Enzo.

He felt horrible for making them sleep like this but they seem to not be able to and most have a system that they follow. Not to mention, some can spend alone in dimension anyways even an illusionary world would help their bond together.
