Genesis

I was an ordinary 15-year-old boy, having an okay day on April 21st, 2010. Rain falling from the sky, I remembered what had happened, I was just walking down the street, listening to music, with my Bluetooth headset. Suddenly, "What the hell.", I heard a strange buzzing sound, "What is that sound?" I took off my headset, off, my head, trying to see if the buzzing came from there. It didn't. Looking up at the sky, something red flashing then it exploded, in the sky; the colour of scarlet; filled the sky; Blinding my vision. In the next second, I felt an instant pain. It started from my head and the pain expanded through out my body. Not being strong enough, I passed out immediately. Not knowing what is coming my way.

I woke up, my body feeling paralyzed and laying down on a table. I was confused of why, I was on a table, but I didn't ask because, I was inside of an ICS. [Improved Combat Shelter] I was confused, of what happened. People in bio-hazard suits were looking down on me, but when they saw me wake up. "Ah! Kill it!" I saw one of them, with a knife. About to, jab it right into my eye. "HOLY CRAP!" I rolled off the table, hitting the ground. Head first, before passing out, again, I heard the two talking. "Oh shit, it's alive, still human to. Let's tell the gener-" I went unconscious.

Waking up again, in a padded white room. "Where, where am I?" I looked down at myself, wearing all white. An intercom in the room, it made a snapping noise. Someone was about to speak. "This is BCS, Bio-hazard-Containment-Security. Please relax and wait for further instructions." I felt a sudden shock inside my body, like something was going to explode. "Why am I here?!" I shouted with anger, feeling a fire inside of me. Heat succumbing my body, I dropped to the ground, screaming at the top of my lungs. "HEY!" The intercom made a small snapping noise, "I said! Relax!" … Power had gone out, it just cut out. Not knowing how that happened, I knew what I should do. Escape.

Faintly, I heard two voices. Both having croaky tones. "Alright, we must contain, all the subjects. Especially numbers: one, three and six, we cannot afford to lose those three." Hearing banging against the door. I got up, still feeling heat and what I believe what could be a fever, just telling by the heat.

I heard the door open, knowing my chances of escaping, are considerably low. I bolted out of the room, turning left. I saw what looks like to be a girl, looking the same age as me. She was running, running for her life. After I blinked, she had disappeared.

"Wait, where did she-" Being interrupted by a guard, "Hey! Stop!" I started to step back, very confused and I panicked, I then raised both hands at the guys in suits. From my hands, flames. Crimson red, fire forming into ball and it shot at the guards, "Take cover!" both of them, ran and took cover.

I then heard an explosion down the hall, as I shook my head and ran towards the sound. I saw a broken, no, demolished wall with burns, not fire. Slowly walking towards the wall, now outside, it was getting dark, the sun was going down. Looking around the area, "I've got to escape." Seeing a forest up ahead, I ran for it, not knowing anything.
