2 Arrived At The Academy

Thomas took a look at the address he got. Seemed like he had arrived at the place. There was a building in front of him. But when he entered it became a railway station. That was also magic. However, he was not that surprised about that because it was not his first time seeing something like that.

He had a token. What he had to do was to show the token and ask for help. Since he was all alone he was a little nervous too.

There was a ticket counter for newbies. And their seniors had separate counters for each year. He moved and stood in the queue for newbies.

"Hey, Are you also going to the academy? Shall we be friends?"

Someone from behind suddenly tapped on him and asked him in a friendly manner.

"Oh! Yes, It's nice to meet you too. I am glad I am not alone."

Thomas smiled and talked with him while standing in the queue. It's always better to have a friend, so you don't have to feel lonely.

Then it was Thomas's turn after the queue got short.

Even though it's a ticket counter, what you would get was not only a ticket but also instructions. And also they would get all your information.

There was a man inside the counter. He asked a few questions from Thomas.

"Name?"

"Thomas Morland."

"Beast form?"

"Late bloomer."

"Special abilities?"

"Don't know yet."

Thomas answered quickly afraiding it would take longer. When the glares scanned him after hearing he was a late bloomer made him get goosebumps. They were so rude.

"Okay, here is your ticket. When you reach the Academy, before you go to the dorm, go and meet the principal. This is the number of his office. Got it?"

"Yes, Thanks."

Thomas quickly got the card given to him and left the queue. But he was stopped by the friend behind him.

"Wait for me!"

He said that and went to the counter.

Thomas wasn't one who overhears. But he got interested in this guy. So he listened to him answering. But when the questions were answered, he was stunned.

"Beast Form?"

"Late bloomer."

It turned out to be that, this guy was also a late bloomer. What a stroke of luck!

He also got a card to meet the principal. None of them had to worry about being alone. They had each other.

"Let's go."

He came and grabbed Thomas's hand with a smile on his face.

"Are you also- a- a- late bloomer?"

Thomas asked him when they entered the train.

"Yes, we are suitable to be friends, right?"

He told and then the both of them sat down.

"Can I ask your name?"

He leaned in the seat and asked Thomas.

"I am Thomas."

"Hello Thomas, I am Kevin."

He answered happily and then they shared some details about their families.

After some time, they felt the train start. Both of them went silent on the way to the academy.

Then Thomas felt a familiar feeling.

<Thomas! Are you there?>

A voice sounded in his ear. He knew who that was.

He cheerfully replied.

Actually, he was communicating through telepathy. The person he is talking to now is a person who is far beyond a friend, but a little closer to a lover. They were so close. But they met each other 10 years ago. After that, he still didn't get to see him. That's why he still didn't become his lover.

Each city has an academy. While Thomas was going there, this boy was going to his city. He was also the same age as Thomas.

<Yeah! Thomas, when you have free time let's talk okay? Now I have to go.>

He said quickly that maybe someone was coming to him.

<Okay! Hope we will meet again one day, Simon.>

Thomas told.

Every time their conversation ends with this phrase. Thomas always missed his image whenever they talk like this. It's not that Simon also didn't miss him. It's just that they had a lot of problems to overcome if they wanted to meet.

Thomas and Simon were childhood sweethearts. But they kept talking secretly using telepathy. Both of them had affection toward each other. Yet, they couldn't meet because of some reason.

Then silence took over the conversation.

Thomas laughed and replied even though he knew the other party was not there.

Sometimes he even wondered if they could continue this relationship like this. Anyways, both of them didn't have any thought of stopping it though. Thomas thought that when they met, Simon could be considered as his lover.

"Thomas, I think we have arrived at the place. See!"

Kevin pointed at a huge building a little far from them. It was surrounded by tall trees and they made the place a little creepy. However, they have to study there for three years.

Then after some time, the train also stopped. They had arrived. Thomas and Kevin collected their luggage in a rush and headed out of the train while looking around.

"Woah! It's huge."

Kevin said while trying to see the top of the building visible in front of them.

Their academy was not there. That building was actually the entrance. Just the entrance, but quite big!

They had to confirm their details again and clear their every problem.

"Newbies who have the red card, please come here!"

Suddenly a boy shouted suppressing the other students' noises.

He was a senior from the academy. He was ordered to collect the people with red cards.

The students who got the red cards are late bloomers. That senior student was there to guide them to the principal's office. At first, Thomas thought they would have to go and find the principal alone. Thankfully, there was someone there for them.

Kevin and Thomas went to his side and showed the red card they received from the ticket counter back then. Thomas and Kevin really had the hope that there will be more students like them. As expected, there were three more students. Two of them were girls. The girls seemed to be more nervous than these three boys.

The senior student told them to follow him. Five students followed him without saying anything.

"Welcome to the academy. Don't be nervous. You will be okay soon."

The senior welcomed them warmly and talked with them about the trip on the way to the academy, to lower their stress. On the way to the office, they looked around and found out that this place was so mind-blowing. They felt relaxed.

Since these five were special, the academy had the responsibility to take care of them. So they were called to meet the principal while others went to find their dorms. The academy was like a parallel world with this entrance building. When you enter, you will be directed to the academy.

The academy was like a town. Not only these newbies but also the seniors of them were still there. Students of each year had separated areas in order to avoid other problems. Since the academy had a lot of students, it was so huge. It had everything in a town. Such an unbelievable place! That was quite similar to a city.

The surroundings were so beautiful. The students were amazed and happy thinking this will be their school from now on.

The five students who were heading to the office calmed down a little by their senior's friendly talk. After walking for a long, they finally stopped in front of a room. That door had the number which was given by the counter as the principal's room number.

They were going to meet the principal.

"Sir, I brought them."

The senior knocked on the door and said.

But there was no response. However, after some time there was a rough voice.

"Let them in. You can go back to the class."
