However, as she was trying to slither away like a snake, a hand grabbed her wrist again, followed by a cold metal click around her wrist. Nyx could feel her heart pounding hard against her chest as she was trying her best not to lose her shit.
/"Not so fast, you idiot./" James growled at her.

Nyx's amber eyes fell on her wrist that was still in his hand and the new additional bracelet around it. Blood froze in her veins as a black hole formed in her stomach. Her brain was on fire once again.
Before she could even have the optimistic thought that at least it was only one wrist, another click sounded, and now she had two brand new bracelets.
