Su Zi stayed in the hospital for three days.

Nobody visited her other than Bai Wei, who cared for her tirelessly.

It was all very strange.

Su Zi just could not figure it out. If that man did everything he could to revive her, why did he not look for her?

Could it be that he managed to revive her in someone else's body, but then could not find out whose body it was?

Su Zi discovered that Bai Wei was a virtuous wife and a loving mother after getting along with her in the last few days. On the other hand, Mu Zi was a bossy teen, who was awkward and unsociable.

Therefore, Su Zi did not want to be too friendly, lest the others would suspect something.

She pressed the remote control's buttons lazily with no intention of helping her mother at all.

As she switched the TV channels, something caught her attention all of a sudden.

It was her funeral…

Her corpse had not been found, and it appeared that her husband, Mu Zening, "loved her so much" that he refused to hold a funeral, and was unwilling to accept the news of her death. He finally held a funeral for his late wife only after being persuaded by his friends and relatives for a week.

Mu Zening's mournful expression was captured as a close-up on him was occasionally shown.

Su Zi observed him closely as she tried to interpret if his sorrowful look was real or fake.

There were two types of murder. One was spontaneous, whereas the other had been plotted for a long time. Her death belonged to the latter.

If Mu Zening had not held a party on his luxurious private yacht, she would not have gotten on it, and would not have fallen to her death.

Was her death a part of Mu Zening's party plan?

She was in disbelief when she looked at her husband's face on television.

When she was still in university, Mu Zening pursued her crazily for four years and even humbled himself from being a second-generation rich boy to help take care of her grandmother. Everyone was envious of his deep love for her, yet he ended up killing his wife because of his company's crisis?

Did he humble himself for four years for nothing?

It was not logical.

Her ward's door suddenly opened.

She subconsciously turned to look.

Mu Rongcheng walked in leisurely with a bag of dragon fruits in his hand.

Su Zi was startled, and her brother appeared taken aback too.

He raised his eyebrows slightly, then commented after looking at her from head to toe, "You're finally looking like a human."

Su Zi was speechless.

She was never hopeful that something nice would come out of his mouth.

Bai Wei was thrilled at seeing her son. "Rongcheng, are you here to pick up your sister? Ah, you even bought fruits… Zizi, quick, thank your brother."

Bai Wei was always trying to create harmony between her children.

However, Su Zi was not fond of Mu Rongcheng at all. She looked away disgustedly after seeing the bag of fruits. "I don't want to eat them."

She meant what she said because she disliked dragon fruits. The tasteless fruit was neither sweet nor sour, and had plenty of tiny black seeds!

She was a trypophobia, alright?

Just as Bai Wei was about to persuade her to accept her elder brother's good intention, Mu Rongcheng sneered. "I didn't buy them for you anyway."

Su Zi bit her lips and glared at him.

She was about to mock him when a dark look appeared on his face as he saw the television screen. He moved forward to turn it off!

"Are you in a hurry to die, or you can't wait to reincarnate? You've just gotten better after a few days, and you're already watching someone else's funeral!"

He spoke harshly and seemed to be furious for some reason.

Su Zi and Bai Wei became puzzled and were stunned for a while. Before long, the angry look on Mu Rongcheng's face disappeared, and he became his usual indifferent self…
