4 The Flaming Red Head

Glory drove back to the school, using her magic to push the motorcycle faster. she became a blur, urging her energy and her senses to heighten.

Glory could make out every tree, every vehicle.

The school came up and she pulled into the parking lot. Gregory was still sitting in the parking lot. His face was freshly dried with tears.

Glory stopped and descend while uttering an enchantment. From this moment until I say, freeze this realm." Everything stopped even the birds in mid-air. The breeze became non-existent. Even Gregory was frozen. There was no sound but her.

The pitter of Glory's feet echoed in the silence as she drew close to him. The sounds of her own heart rang in her ears.

Once she reached Gregory, Glory dropped to her knees. She reached one of her hands to his face. Glory tilted her head and studied the man before her. She had a keen interest in him. Her fingers nails became long, as Glory grabbed his chin. " I know you from my depths," she whispered. "but that can not be."

The Krone tilted its head and rested its hand on its boney chin. its eyeless red pupils narrowed. "Alright who messed with this situation. Or could their love be that powerful, that existence itself is denying the total effect of my actions? This is threatening, I might let them live. Oh, the agony. I'm going to have to watch this crap."

Glory leaned her head against his, releasing his chin. Her breath became uneven, and things slowly started up again.

Gregory found himself suddenly staring at Glory. He gasped. When did she get here, he thought. His hand reached under her chin. Gregory looked at her with wonder.

Glory felt his touch it was gentle. "Let this be a dream," she whispered.

Gregory's lips quirked up. "Unfortunately it isn't."

"The krone narrowed its eyes studying the situation.

"I can't tell if the situation has gotten better or worse."

Glory's eyes snapped open and she quickly scrambled away. "I am going to set you ablaze," She harshly screamed at him.

Gregory stood up but Leaned toward her. "A second ago you were practically cuddling with me."

The krone leaned back and plopped itself down on the ground. It tilted its head. "I feel like an observer trying to catch violent animals in the act of mating." it then huffed and folded its arms. "Honestly antagonizing a witch." The Krone quirked an eyebrow up. "Does he think he will get a welcome party? I'm just going to root for her to blow him up. Only the stupid mess with a hormonally imbalanced witch," it mumbled.

Glory slammed her hand into the ground. The world froze once more, but this time Gregory was not frozen. She stood and faced her palms outward. "I call the flame of flames. The deep dark. The light of the world grant me fire," Glory shrieked. Flames sprung from her hands forming into little balls.

Gregory leaned back with raised eyebrows. "Now I'm slightly alarmed."

Glory tilted her head," Only slightly?" The balls of fire suddenly grew in size.

His eyes got widener. He coughed before he spoke. "Now, I am even more alarmed."

"Good," Glory snarled. She heaved a fired ball at him and he dodged. The fireball hit the parking lot and exploded upon impact. both of them dodged the flying debris.

"Ha, You missed me. Now you got to kiss me." Gregory winked.

Glory stopped for a moment.

Gregory relaxed and studied her for a second.

She screamed a wordless scream. Fire surrounded her, and then attached itself to her body. Her hair seemed to float while consumed with flames. "I don't want to," she shrieked

Gregory took a step back. His eyes budged out a bit. " You don't have to if you don't want to. I was joking," he squeaked.

The Krone was completely befuddled. "I never heard a wolf squeak before. It's funny." The Krone waved its hand summoning a throne and grapes. She munched as she watched. "These are juicy."

Glory roar, "So you don't want to kiss me!"

Gregory back up. "No, No I do! Just let me live." He took off running.

Glory was behind him flinging fireballs and curse words. Debris was flying everywhere.

Gregory summoned up his courage and flipped around. "You're pretty when you fling those balls of fire."

Glory again let out an enraged sound and the flames that surrounded her body got bigger.

He eyed the scene and ran toward her. " I like your hair ."

"Don't lie to me," Glory shrieked. She threw a fireball at him.

"I like your intensity," He spattered out in between pants.

She shouted as he dodged.

"You don't even know me," Glory shouted.

Gregory sniffed a little. " I love your eyes."

The krone busted out laughing," So, maybe this love will not move me. But it's going to be an entertaining nightmare." it slurped the juice from a grape. "They live for now."

"Stop lying," She shrieked. The flames around her died down a little bit. she collapsed to the ground and started wailing.

Gregory was getting ready for another attack when it never came, he glanced over. " Are you seriously crying?" He blinked.

"Yes," Glory choked out. "You 're mean."

The Krone spat out all the grapes in her mouth.

Gregory blinked and then gave her a hard look. He looked at the damage the fireballs did. The craters were a decent size. "You flung fireballs that could incinerate me on the spot. Somehow I'm the mean one?" Gregory gave her a skeptical look.

Glory nodded, "You are, you are very mean." The flames on her body died down.

Gregory shrugged and walked over to her. He sat down beside her, and without even thinking he pulled her into his chest. She was hot to the touch but not enough to burn him. "Glory your beautiful, even when your face is covered in eye snot."

Glory's tears stopped and she huffed. "You don't fight fair."

"I don't have to I'm handsome," he gloated.

Glory's clothes faded back to normal. She sniffled a little. "Maybe."

"Hey," Gregory cried in outrage. "I'm the only guy who would stick around after that display."

Glory laughed. "You're just stupid."
