Takashi was Born on normal earth without anything supernatural just like ours but he had died and arrived at the Soul Society and eventually became a Captain how he also died there. Finally, after his death, he took rebirth in the World of the living, and when he got attacked by Hollow Sora which caused his Soul to fly out of his body he remembers everything.
