7 Chapter 7 Abosolute genius

What is Quincy? That was the first question that came to Ichigo's mind. Ryuken knew what he was thinking, so he explained it to him.

"Quincy are simply humans who could manipulate spiritual energy to make a weapon like this."

Ryuken demonstrated his ability by summoning a bow made entirely of spiritual energy.

Ichigo's eyes widened in awe as he watched the bow materialize before him.

Intrigued, he asked Ryuken how Quincy differed from Shinigami in their abilities to manipulate spiritual energy.

Ryuken looked at Ichigo who was yearning for knowledge. He adjusted his glasses a little before explaining to him in more detail.

Ichigo absorbed everything that Ryuken taught him like a sponge.

Ryuken then asked him to try using spiritual pressure to create a bow.

"Is this how it is supposed to form?"

Ichigo did as Ryuken instructed him and he could do it perfectly.

Ryuken was surprised. He didn't think that Ichigo would be able to materialize a bow in his first try.

"You did very well, Ichigo."

Even though it was a simple praise, it had come from someone who treated the compliment like gold. So it was really something.

"Thank you but how can I use it?"

Ichigo began to ask Ryuken many questions. And those questions were good questions that a normal kid shouldn't be able to come up with.

'Is he really the son of Isshin?'

He wasn't surprised that he was the child of Masaki but he doubted he was Isshin's child.

Ryuken shook his head and tried to banish the useless thoughts. He began to teach Ichigo seriously.

Ichigo, like always, absorbed the knowledge very quickly.

He could even use some of the basic techniques of Quincy.

…Two hours passed…

"I want to adopt him…"

Ryuken spoke calmly with seriousness.

"What the hell are you talking about? You can't adopt someone else's kid! Don't you have your own kid!"

"I want more!"

Ryuken and Isshin argued with each other.

Ryuken really wanted to adopt Ichigo. When he saw that Ichigo's power as Quincy was really high.

If he taught him everything he had. He might even be able to beat those shitty captains.

"Masaki will hate you if you adopt him without her consent!"

"Ugh…"

Masaki was mentioned and Ryuken instantly lost. He didn't want to have a problem with her.

He was scared of her even though she was very gentle. How could someone so gentle make someone like him afraid of her. That was still a mystery.

Ryuken sighed and thought about something.

"You should bring him to Urahara and Yoruichi. They should know how to teach him. Don't let his talent go to waste and…Let him come here every sunday."

"You mean you are going to teach him?"

"Yes, Now I have something to do. You just wait here until Masaki wakes up. She just needs a little bit of time."

Ryuken was very busy. If it wasn't a big incident concerning his cousin then he wouldn't show up and help her.

Isshin nodded and said thank you even though it was so low but Ryuken heard it and made a disgusting face.

The two had a love and hate relationship. Everyone could see that.

He looked at Ichigo then smiled at him and told him to come every sunday. He was going to introduce him to his son too.

He hoped they could be friends with each other.

Ichigo nodded and promised him that he would come every Sunday. As for being friends with his son. He didn't promise him.

He didn't know if he could become friends with him or not. He had friends because it was convenient and it wasn't him who initiated first.

He didn't know how to make friends!

"Onii-chan, when can we go and see mom?"

Karin and Yuzu asked while grabbing his shirt.

They were very pitiful. Ichigo could help but console them again. He looked at his dad and asked him.

Isshin thought about it a little bit before he replied.

"I think we can go and see her but you can't be noisy okay?"

Yuzu and Karin immediately nodded. They would be good girls.

Isshin then brought them to the patient room and opened the door.

To his and everyone's surprise Masaki was already awake. She smiled at them weakly.

"Hi"

She could still greet them with her weak body. Isshin immediately went to her and hugged her tightly. The twins followed, only Ichigo stood there and didn't know what to do.

He felt very guilty that he could not protect her. If he was stronger maybe she wouldn't have suffered like this.

"Ichigo-chan come here and hug mommy."

Ichigo's eyes sparked a little when he heard and saw her gently smile.

He quickly moved toward her and hugged her as she told him too.

Masaki knew her children the best. So she knew how to treat Ichigo, who had a problem with emotions.

His Eq was really low. But that could be fixed over time.

At the HQ near Urahara's snack shop where all the children like to buy candy and snacks.

Shinigami wasn't as hard to find as Ichigo had thought. It was even near his home!

He couldn't find them because of the high level sealing art.

Only high level spiritual beings could faintly feel the existence of the shinigami in Gigai.

And now the purple-haired ninja that Ichigo met not long ago was now working on an old model computer.

Even though it looked old it was even faster than the high-end computer that could be found on earth.

"Paper work…My enemy… I want to quit this job already. It's been four hundred years but paperwork is eternal…"

The woman sighed. She really needed someone who could help her.
