Visit

Knocking on the door, I waited patiently under the shade of the tall building and trees around me. Very soon did I hear some voices and then clicking. The door opened and I saw someone my age with glasses on and some casual clothing that had crosses on it. I knew I was in the right place.

"Who are you?" he asked warily.

"I am Sora Kurosaki. I, uh, live a few blocks down that way," I answered, pointing to a direction.

"Then what are you doing here?"

"I came to meet your parents. Is your father home or any of your relatives here?"

"Yes," he replied, steel lacing his voice. "My father is at home."

"Great, great. Can you call him here? I want to speak to him."

"About?"

"Huh?"

"What do you want to talk to him about?"

"Oh, you know. Things..."

"Right...Dad! Someone's here for you." He left and in his place, another older man appeared dressed in a white suit for some odd reason.

"Yes? What can I do for you?"

"My name is Sora Kurosaki and I want to be under your tutelage." 'He flinched. He must know Mom.'

Frowning, he gazed at me with suspicion. "Excuse me?"

"I need Quincy techniques and I thought that you would know some since you're one of the last living Quincies."

Ryūken narrowed his eyes. "Why should I help you?"

"Because I'm adorable and you won't let a young Quincy child go out and fight Hollows at night by himself?" No answer. 'Tough crowd. Initiating plan B.' "How about for my mom then?"

"What did you say?"

"You reacted when I said Kurosaki, so that means you recognize my mom. She was a Quincy and I am one too. I hoped you would help me get revenge."

"...you're right about one thing. I do know Masaki. However, I am not helping you." He was ready to close his door.

"Why not?"

"Why would you in the first place? Hollows are dangerous and fighting them only makes you lose important things. Like time. You will lose a chance at a normal life when you do this. Are you honestly willing to give away what can not be taken back? What would your mother say?"

I recoiled slightly at the strict tone but didn't back down. "My mother will never let me do this, but she's not around anymore. My chances of being normal disappeared the moment I...nevermind." Inhaling deeply, I gave him a pleading look. "Please. Help me."

A moment of silence later, Ryūken sighed to rid himself of the familiar spark of annoyance building up in his head. "Fine." I pumped his fist discreetly. "I swear. You are as stubborn as Masaki and you are just as stupid as your oaf of a father. A truly perfect combination."

"Why thank you," I happily replied with a wide smile. "I do my best." Rolling his eyes, Ryūken questioned his decisions.

Short but decent chapters. The college has been bothersome. Sorry for the lateness.
