20 Ch. 19 Some Answers, But Many More Questions

Hueco Mundo has an abundance of Reishi in the air that would assist him in testing his new powers. And if he can get a new Kido due to his knowledge from his Bankai he would be able to master the Bankai before he goes to SoulSociety….if they don't leave within this month.

And he can test out if he truly has the power of a Fullbringer. Hueco Mundo has dense Reishi that is more towards the Hollow side and that's exactly what a Fullbringers power is. The power is due to the mother being attacked by a Hollow before the birth of the Fullbringer. That means that the Fullbringer is born with the Hollows power inside them. It stays dormant until forcefully awakened or awakens randomly. It's always different per person.

And if he can awaken that power, it would be fused with his Shinigami powers. It would allow him to fight better in his human body.

"Alright, I'm heading out" Jotaro turns around and walks a few steps into the field before closing his eyes and opening them to see he is still staring at the clouds above him.

He looks down at his hands that were resting on his thighs as he sat on his legs on the ground.

Jotaro looked around him and it appears as little to no time had passed. But he feels like a million bucks now.

He uses his unique Kido to repair his clothes and get rid of the blood on them. He also fully healed himself with his Kaido.

He got up and walked over to Rukia and Ichigo.

Ichigo was still out and injured. He was resting in Rukia's lap as she sat in the mud.

Rukia hadn't noticed his presence so he just crouched down and quickly healed Ichigo.

"Jota…ro" Rukia awkwardly said.

After a few second he had healed Ichigo, but made sure that he would feel it in the morning the following day. He moved his hand over to Rukia and also replenished her Reiatsu that she previously used on him.

"Are you…?" Rukia trails off.

"Better" Jotaro says as he stands up. "See you at school" Jotaro says without emotion as he turns and leaves.

Rukia can't say anything to Jotaro as he leaves. Her mind is full of random thoughts about her past and present. She also had forgotten and left Jotaro behind to go to Ichigos aid. She wonders if she would have done the same if Ichigos and Jotaro's positions were changed. She thinks she would but doesn't know for sure.

She feels responsible for Ichigo and his injuries whenever he gets hurt doing her job. But Jotaro, she has no reason to worry about him and his well being. So why is it that she treats him more than any other human. She can't really explain it in words.

After some time Ichigo wakes up and Rukia explains the Hollow got away but that his family and Jotaro are safe. Ichigo is mad but decides to take what he can and is satisfied with saving his family and friends as well as hearing and seeing his mom one last time.

Ichigo goes to the graves and doesn't see anyone so he goes to the Shrine and finds his family just outside it with Kon in his body trying to act as him.

Ichigo joins them and his dad has a talk with him.

Rukia just stands in the woods alone, not really sure what to do next. She was used to being alone and doing things somewhat on her own. But being alone at this moment was much more...cold and empty than it should be.

Jotaro walks back through town and he lets the rain fall on him as he slowly walks back to his house.

When he gets back he sees his mom is doing better and is alone in the living room. She gets off the phone with someone as Jotaro enters the front door.

"I'm home" Jotaro flatly says.

Saiko puts her phone down and quickly goes to the front door. "Jotaro~. You're finally home~. I missed you! How wa-" She was about to jump on him but noticed he was soaked completely. "Go get changed and jump in the bath! We can't have you catching a cold now can we!" Her playful and happy tone changed to her mama bear tone as she begins pushing Jotaro to the bathroom.

"I know so stop pushing me!" Jotaro hadn't been able to take his wet socks off and was trying not to fall and hurt Saiko.

"Okay~!" She says as Jotaro walks into the bathroom. "When you're done you must tell me how the trip went~" She says as she walks back to the couch where she had previously been sitting.

Jotaro takes off his wet clothes and takes a quick hot shower. He puts on a pair of sweatpants and a loose tshirt. He leaves his room and remembers something he forgot.

Kai

Back at with the Kurosaki's, Kon and Kai were in their plushies and in a bag with enough room to not be smooshed together. They were having a casual conversation.

Kon was talking about mild pervert things and Kai wasn't encouraging him, but he wasn't stopping him either.

Back to the Kujo home.

Jotaro goes and sits down beside Saiko.

"So how was it Jotaro~?" Saiko asks. "Oh, and Orihime over at Tatsuki's place for tonight. She said she will be home late tonight, so we get the house to ourselves. NOW I'm done talking and you can explain how things went~"

Jotaro sighs as he sits against the cushioned back of the couch. He briefly explain what happened, besides the Hollow and Shinigami things.

After he was done explaining. "How did you get your sickness" He bluntly asks with a very serious tone and facial expression as he looked into her eyes.

She closed her eyes and hugged him. "It's nothing you need to worry about JoJo~. Your mom isn't going anywhere anytime soon~. I'm happy you are worried about me but you don't need to worry, alright?"

"When did you first realize you were sick" Jotaro asks in the same firm voice.

"Oohhhh~. You're just like your Gandpa, so stubborn. But that's what I love about the. Both of you~" Saiko hugs him tighter.

"I know it was before I was born"

Saikos hug loosens a little bit. "How do you know that?" She says in an unusual tone.

"Well now I know for sure" Jotaro uses his left hand to move his hair back, it's still slightly wet.

"You and You're Grandpa….how does that always work~!" She complains like a child. Jotaro wouldn't say it's because she practically is a child. Definitely not.

"Do you remember when you got ill? We're you attacked before you noticed any symptoms?"

"Ummm…" Saiko is thinking about it, but Jotaro can tell she doesn't want to tell.

"I don't think so, It was me and your father here for a little while before you entered our lives. And before coming here….." She trail off.

"Before here? You mean back in Britain" Jotaro drops that he knew.

"Y-yeah. Back when your grandpa was so overprotective of me. But I got away and came here with your Dad" She squeezes him a bit. "There was something back in Britain but it was nothing. Barely even a scratch, your dad was so cool when he came to my rescue. You should have seen him!"

'Yeah, it would be nice to see the guy. Like at all' Jotaro thinks to himself. The guy was on tour for 15 bloody years. Is he trying to go to every country in the world multiple times?

"But there wasn't anything else. I'm a strong woman so you don't have to think about that alright?" She says with her usual energy coming back.

"Whatever". Jotaro was fairly sure that it could have been a Hollow infection. Even a scratch could do it no matter how small. Even a little bit would cause her harm.

After sitting with his mom Jotaro went and made dinner for them. He hadn't really had anything to eat today and now that he was feeling fine he was extremely hungry.

That night he stood in the middle of his room. Still wearing his sweatpants and tshirt he used one of his Unique Kido.

"Unique Kido: Jigen Pōtaru" (Dimensional Portal).

He moves his hands forward and tears the soace in front of him. A quiet tear could be heard. Jotaro looked at the white desert on the other side and didn't see any Hollows.

"Bakudo No. 26: Kyokkō" (Bent Light)

Jotaro's figure slowly disappears from sight. This Bakudo hides the physical form and Reiatsu of the caster by bending light.

Effectively making him invisible. There is a Kido to allow a person to see a person using this Bakudo, so it's not perfect. But against Shinigami below a certain level and almost any Hollow this makes him not exist to them.

With this he steps through the portal and closes it. He had chosen a random point in Hueco Mundo and it seems he got lucky.

He doesn't need to move and only casts another Bakudo.

"Bakudo No. 73: Tozanshō" (Inverse Mountain Crystal)

A blue inverse pyramid forms around Jotaro. He isn't happy with how effective this could be. It's only strong enough now because he's in Hueco Mundo. He wants to talk with Hachigen to master more Bakudo. That guy uses them for both Offense and Defense primarily, so Jotaro thinks he would be a great guy to learn more from. Tessai is more of a Kido specialist. But that doesn't mean he falls that far behind Hachigen. But when you specialize in one field you are more likely to beat others in that field then if they master many things.

Anyway, Jotaro had brought random objects with him to try and awaken his Fullbring powers. He doesn't really have something that makes him feel a lot of emotion. But that isn't necessary for this step.

He thinks about Masaki being eaten before him. That feeling of uselessness and the desire for strength. That same desire had awakened Ayashi so it should work with this too.

He focused on feeling the souls of the objects he brought with him and his own. He didn't want anyone else to die like that when he can stop it. And he isn't strong enough yet. He needs to do this to protect his friends and stop the plans of the various villains. He doesn't care what power his Fullbring would give hime.

Just as long as it's something he can use. Even if it just enhances his current capabilities a little bit.

He focused on a gallon of water and he feels something.

He watches as the water floats from the top of the jug with a green glow. He can feel it's soul and presence.

Not only of the water, but of the clothes he's wearing, and the sand of the desert. But it's weird. Compared to an actual soul it's…..almost dull. It's almost overwhelming.

He had been good at sensing things since as far back as he can remember. He has to drown out the loud humming noise of the objects around him. It's like a metal detector.

The metal detector has a battery that he needs to charge with his Reiatsu, or spiritual power. And the metal detector is more of a soul detector. It'll allow him to change the options so he can focus on particular types of souls. Each object is unique. Like 2 identical tables might have near identical souls, but they are still in someway unique. And when he feeds his Reiatsu into the Soul Detector he is able to change the settings and filter.

When he comes back to reality he isn't sure how much time has passed. He makes a small rift back to his room and sees his alarm clock. It was already almost time for school so he just hops into bed from his position.

He wonders how long or even if his Bakudo will stay active if he left.

He was very tired, so he enjoyed the little sleep he could get. He could always just sleep in class anyway.
