11 Ch. 11

It was the morning after Sora was able to move on and found his peace.

Rukia and Ichigo went to Orihime's place early in the morning.

"What are we doing here again?" Ichigo yawns into his hand.

"We're here because we have to modify their memories of last night" Rukia was annoyed by Ichigos goldfish memory.

"Right….but how do we do that? Like one of the Magic's spell Jotaro and you can cast?" Ichigo moves his arms around in the air mimicking Jotaros movements.

"It's not magic. It's Kido. Kido is…..haaaah. You won't even understand" Rukia holds her head. She forgot she was talking to an idiot.

"Oy!" Ichigo gets offended at her.

"What?! Just think of them as magic, it's practically the same to you anyway" Rukia just motions with her hand for him to forget about it.

"Hold up! What if I wanted to learn some of these not magic but still magic spells?" Ichigo gets in Rukia's face.

"It takes years of training! Being able to use your spiritual pressure very accurately! Having to memorize incantations and trials of failure after failure trying to get the feeling for that specific Kido art! Unless you're a genius in Kido I wouldn't even bother. Since you're so unbelievably stubborn and stupid I recommend you just ignore Kido to focus on Zenjutsu, Hakuda if your half-decent at it, and HoHo!" Rukia butts heads with Ichigo and has a tick mark on her forehead.

"If your so sure th-" Ichigo ends up crashing to the ground.

He was exerting a his force down on Rukia but when Rukia moves he just pushes himself into the ground. Rukia pulls out her drawings with rabbits. "Only true geniuses can master the 4 Shinigami fighting styles. All have their advantages and disadvantages. Most people specialize in one for a while before working on the others, It's because it takes a lot of time and effort to master even one. And that's if you can master it. Sometimes a fighting style isn't for someone. Since you love shutting your brain off and charging in, I recommend Zanjutsu and HoHo" Rukia continues walking towards Orihime's old apartment.

"So I heard Zanjetso and whowho. But what are they?" Ichigo picks himself up and walks next to Rukia.

"Zanjutsu! HoHo!" Rukia sighs and reminds herself that this is a human and not an official trained soul reaper.

"Zanjutsu is sword combat. And your sword is a Zanpakuto. What a Zanpakuto is will be explained later, I don't want to try explaining that to you currently. HoHo is your basic mobility techniques. It's the footwork of a Shinigami, basically speed and agility" Rukia was walking while moving her Indra finger through the air.

"Huh…this seems more complicated than I initially thought" Ichigo holds his chin as he thinks on what he was told.

"Of course. That can change based on what type of Zanpakuto you have. But you don't need to worry since you shouldn't need to know this stuff for too long" Rukia puts her hands behind her back.

"Yeah…" Ichigo puts his hands at his side. He hasn't even agreed to take over the job of a Shinigami yet.

The two get to Orihime's apartment and knock on the door. There is a sound of shuffling inside. "One second!" Orihime's voice is heard from inside.

The door opens to reveal Orihime. "Oh…Ichigo? What are….hold on, was last nigh-" Rukia holds out what looks like a pez-dispenser in front of Orihime's face. Then the head on the pez-dispenser pops off connected by a spring and releases a puff of smoke in front of Orihime's face and she collapses to the floor.

"What the hell was that?!" Ichigo shouts.

"It just erased her memory of last night and replaced it with something random. The random part is the only fly in the ointment"

"Fly in the what? You know? Whatever" Ichigo just bends down and picks Orihime up and takes her back into the apartment.

"You ok 'Hime?" Tatsuki turns around and sees Ichigo and Rukia walking in. "Ichigo? Rukia?"

She doesn't see Jotaro with them. She wanted to ask him so many questions.

Rukia walks over to Tatsuki. "Hello~" When Rukia gets to Tatsuki she does the same thing she did to Orihime. And Tatsuki was sitting at the table, so her head lands on the table with a thud.

"I'd appreciate it if you didn't give her any more brain damage.....does that thing cause brain damage?" Ichigo points to the pez-dispenser.

"This thing?" Rukia looks at it and thinks. "No"

"Why did you have to think so hard!?" Ichigo put Orihime down on the floor and stomped over to Rukia.

"They should be fine as long as I don't use this more than a few times. Don't worry about it"

"Don't worry about it? How?!"

"Shinigami are forbidden to harm the living. So I wouldn't do anything to actually harm them, Ichigo"

"Sure, I guess that works" Ichigo calms down. He scratches the back of his head. "I guess we have nothing to do besides head to school now"

"Ladies first" Rukia holds the door for Ichigo.

"What modern Japanese things are you even learning from?!" Ichigo walks out shouting.

Orihime and Tatsuki showed up late to school but still made it before lunch.

Ichigo and Rukia were on the roof by the fence.

Orihime and Tatsuki were surrounded by a bunch of girls having a picnic on the other side of the roof. Orihime though that some wrestlers came and helped her clean her apartment with her and Tatsuki the previous night.

Rukia and Ichigo have drinks in their hands. Rukia has a strawberry flavor and Ichigo has orange juice. Rukia doesn't know how to use the straw to poke the container. She didn't even know it had a straw.

They talk and Ichigo's friend, Kojima Mizuiro, walks over and jumps into their conversation. He calls Ichigo a quick worker. Ichigo knows he's joking around and makes fun of his taste in women and warns Rukia of this Womanizer. kojima says that he's only interested in older women.

"That's exactly why I warned her" Ichigo face palms as Rukia is still fiddling with the straw. "Nevermind"

Rukia was over 150 yrs old. That's why he warned her, but Kujima didn't get it.

They talk abit and another friend enters talking about getting girls and wishing Ichigo luck against Jotaro.

Chad walks over covered in injuries and carrying a bird.

"My head was hurt by a steel girder that fell on me yesterday. And my wrist is from a head-on collision motorcycle accident today. The biker was hurt badly so I carried him to the hospital and got patched up. Then I came here"

"That explains why you're hurt" Ichigo says. Then they all look at his white bird.

It talks like a parrot and apologizes. Both Rukia and Ichigo notice that a soul is tied to that bird and might be causing Chads injuries. But they don't sense any Hollow or I'll intentions from the soul like how a corrupted soul would have.

Rukia and Ichigo plan to help the soul attached to the bird that night.

Ichigo helps Rukia with her drink and puts the straw in. Then he talks about how he met Chad.

And how Jotaro helped him out when Chad was tied up. Ichigo and Chad had met before Chad was tied under the bridge. But that is when they became friends. It turns out Chad is a sort of pacifist. He will fight for others, but will just take a beating if he had to fight for himself. Something happened in his past and he sticks to it. Some promise or something. Chad hadn't told Ichigo exactly.

"That's unusual" Rukia takes a sip.

"Yeah" Ichigo watches Chad feed the bird.

"This juice is good" Rukia looks at it from different angles. She likes this and hadn't tasted something like this before exactly.

"Oh" Ichigo says getting half lost in thought.

School went by as usual and the students went home or to club practice. Tatsuki was in the Karate club for their high school.

Ichigo and Rukia parted ways with Orihime. They didn't know where Jotaro was the entire day. But decided to forget about it. Rukia was wondering if his injuries were worse than he let on. He was still in a regular human body and got clobbered by a strong Hollow many times.

Orihime was just worried about him. But not as much as Saiko was. They weren't too worried though. They knew he was at his job. Orihime just worried because he left with the wrestlers last night and didn't show back up.

When Jotaro wakes up Yoruichi is sitting on his chest with her limbs folded under her and she's looking at Jotaro's face.

"Good morning Jotaro" Yoruichi says.

"I would appreciate that more if it wasn't said with the voice of Requis" Jotaro puts his arms at his sides and let's his head rest on the table now.

"How long?" Jotaro asks.

"Which part? The rampage you went on for like 16 hours straight? Or the nap that you took for 15 hours?"

"Yare Yare" Jotaro closes his eyes.

"Did you find anything useful while you were going crazy?" Yoruichi yawns.

"More than I expec-" Jotaro pauses when he feels a Hollow in the town.

"You don't need to worry about it. Ichigo and Rukia will handle this one" Yoruichi looks into his green eyes that snapped open when he sensed the hollow. Yoruichi hadn't even sensed it from this room. The training ground was special. You could release as much spiritual pressure as you want and none would escape the room.

"Shouldn't leave it completely to the rookie" Jotaro sat up and Yoruichi jumped off his chest. She stretched her back and legs on the table as she arched her back.

"You'll do what you want anyway….." She jumps off the table onto the ground.

Jotaro gets up and grabs Yoruichi. He goes up the ladder and gets into his human body.

"I'm off" Jotaro says putting Yoruichi down next to Kisuke.

"When aren't you…" Yoruichi jumps to the counter and sits.

Jotaro walks out the shop. The sun is bright and he still doesn't have his hat since he gave it to Rukia.

"He's better than expected" Kisuke flicks his fan shut.

"He's still just a kid" Yoruichi looks at Kisuke and notices he's in his weird planning mode.

"He is definitely 'NOT' a kid". He stands up. "At least not a normal one"

Kisuke goes over to a shelf and looks at the random items that are sorted neatly. Tessai takes care of the fine details.

"And I'm sure you know what that's about. He has trained for years. He hasn't even had any fun, and he's only trying to train more. I thought he hit a wall. And that he would have to achieve Bankai in order to grow stronger" Yoruichi licks her arm and cleans her face.

"But….?" Kisuke turns towards Yoruichi.

"But Jotaro proved us both wrong. He's gotten stronger without Bankai. He's achieved, or will achieve, things other Shinigami couldn't dream of. He's learned all he can from us. And even some things we hadn't taught him"

Kisuke looks at the door. "Yeah, it's quite strange. He's kinda messed my plans up. But I think it's more interesting and safer this way"

"You and your plans. Care to share?"

"Where's the fun in that. And if I tell my plans, they won't work. And I know your little secret Yoruichi Shihoin~"

Yoruichi narrows her eyes at Kisuke.

"Ok. It's not a little secret. It's about 6'5", wide shoulders, packed with muscles and hung like a-"

*SMACK*

"Ooowwwwww!" Kisuke holds his nose. "I think you broke it~" Kisuke says. More in mock pain than actual. Switching to his aloof personality than his serious one.

Yoruichi jumps out the window.

"Why are women always so…..moody" Kisuke let's his nose go after pushing it back in place.

Ururu and Jinta were outside with Tessai so they didn't hear what the two said.

Jotaro is walking through town when he feels the hollow start running around. Like it's chasing or being chased. If he remembers correctly Rukia is being chased. That means Chad had already tried throwing her into the air.

When she stops running she is close to where Jotaro is so he walks towards her.

When he gets to her she talks about counter attacking and taking advantage of an offer.

Jotaro sees Rukia facing towards an alley. That's when he hears a crash. He walks up to Rukia and sees Ichigo standing on top of a hollow, still in his human body.

"Right, Ichigo?" Rukia is completely not paying attention to her surroundings.

"'Alright, Ichigo' my ass. Didn't you say you wouldn't have any slip ups for me to worry about?" Ichigo looks up and sees Jotaro standing behind Rukia a few feet.

"That's what someone, who was at least a little worried, would say" Rukia seems happy for Ichigo to be there.

"You two are idiots" Jotaro stands with his hands in his pockets and his hair blowing in the wind.

"Gahh!" Rukia screams in a girly tone as she jumps forward and turns around. "Jotaro?! When did you get there?!"

"Less than a minute" Jotaro takes his hands out of his pockets.

"You bastard. How long are you gonna stand on my head?!" The Hollow stands up and Ichigo jumps off of it.

"If you wanted to play tag, you played with the wrong person" Ichigo says to the Hollow over his shoulder as he faces down the alley.

"What are you supposed to be?" The hollow looks at this orange haired teenager.

"I'm Ichigo Kurosaki! Substitute Soul Reaper!" Ichigo shouts out.

"So he decided" Jotaro folds his arms across his chest.

"He decided earlier today. Speaking of, where were you?" Rukia watches Ichigo talk with the Hollow while she has her own conversation.

"Training" Jotaro can see the Hollow tilt its head.

"Substitute Soul Reaper? Damnit!" The Hollow stands on its legs and faces Ichigo and gets ready to attack. "If that's how it was, I should've went after you from the start!"

Weird little blue frog things jump out from the area and soray a green liquid at Ichigo. With the liquid are weird purple leech looking things.

The Hollow sticks it's tongue out and Jotaro sees that it's tongue is tipped in a circle with a break at the end. It releases a high pitch frequency and the purple leech things explode.

But before they can explode Rukia hits Ichigo into his Shinigami form.

Ichigo with his big Zanpakuto appears above the Hollow and slices downwards. "Too slow, Retard" Ichigo slices into its arm but misses its wing.

Ichigo recaps how it tied down Chad and attacked a woman. "You're a dirty son of a bitch, aren't you?"

"But you're about to be eaten by that dirty son of a bitch"

Then Chad appears because plot reasons. He sees Rukia next to a street light. And Ichigo collapsed on the ground. Jotaro is standing in the middle of the pavement.

"I-Ichigo! What's wrong Ichigo?" Chad is holding the bird in its cage with both his arms across his chest. He walks closer to Ichigo.

"Chad! Perfect timing" Rukia turns around towards Chad. "Take that cockatiel somewhere safe"

"Transfer student, what the heck is this?" Chad doesn't know what to think. He just got done punching a ghost he couldn't see and then Rukia apparently led it away. And now Jotaro showed up and Ichigo is unconscious on the ground.

"He's fighting at this very moment" Rukia turns back towards Ichigo who is fighting the Hollow.

Ichigo is slicing through the frog things and the leeches fall from their corpses onto the ground. The Hollow explodes the leeches from the corpses that were at Ichigo's feet.

But Ichigo avoids the explosion and jumps through the smoke. He gets to the Hollow and is about to kill it but stops. His Zanpakuto is at its neck but he stops and asks. "Are you the one who killed the parents of the kid in that cockatiel?"

"That's right. I'm the one who killed that little kids mom…when I was still alive"

Jotaro hated these backstories. He zoned out but was brought back when he saw it.

The gates of hell. He always loved seeing this huge thing.

It was humongous and had two large skeletons on either door that had gold keeping it shut and not fully opening. Not until a 'sinner in life' Hollow is slain. Shinigami was away a Hollows sin while it was a Hollow. Not when it was living.

A giant skewer stabs the Hollow and drags it into hell as the doors close and shatter. Now it's like the gates of hell were never there.

The Soul of the boy is sad that it can't return to its body. Rukia and Ichigo convince the kid to go to SoulSociety to try and find his mother.

The boy says thanks to Chad. Then Chad asks if he dies and goes to the other side if he can carry him and run around again. The kid smiles and says "Sure!" Ichigo then taps the kids forehead with the Stan and sends him on his way.

"That was…..crappy" Jotaro runs his hand through his hair as the wind picks up and tries to blow it into his face.

"Shut up Jotaro!" Ichigo hisses and tries to kick him.

Jotaro dodges. And then turns his back on them and leaves. He wasn't able to really help. If anything he wanted to help Chad and Rukia but he was too late leaving Urahara's Shop.

"Where you goin?!" Ichigo shouts.

Jotaro just keeps walking away. He doesn't know what he's doing. He stops. "Chad"

Chad looks over to the only other guy he's seen that's taller than him and probably stronger too.

"Don't try to meet that kid too soon" He looks over his right shoulder. "See you guys at school"

Jotaro walks away after trying not to be a dick.
