5 Friendly meeting

"Yasushi? it seems he's gotten a job with the royal family."

Inside a small room sat a lone figure with glasses. He wore a black shihakusho meaning he was a shinigami. His brown eyes full of conviction and had a slyish cast to them.

"What a shame. I was looking forward to meeting him but alas I'll have to push that meeting backwards. However, I do see this as an opportunity. The Royal family make visits to the Soul Kings Palace every once in a while"

The man took the book where he had been practising his calligraphy and closed it.

"I wonder what he'll think when he sees it. The ruler of his life. I want to see whether he shares my belief or whether he is just another pawn."

The door opened and someone entered. A young woman with blonde hair.

"Sosuke, The captain is gathering everyone."

"Please Kasumi, Call me Aizen."

----------------

"I don't think I should be seeing this, princess"

"Stop being such a stickup fo the rules," Yoruichi said as she led me down a flight of stairs.

"This is your family heirloom, princess. Normal people shouldn't be seeing this."

"You're not a normal person anymore. You are a tutor of the future head of the Shihoin Family. Don't think you are bound by the same things anymore."

She led me down the stairs and the scenery completely bombarded my senses. It was like a completely different place. Compared to the rest of the places I'd been this was perhaps the most calming and soothing.

The sound of the waterfall that was located at the back of the area created a sound which echoed around the place. There were cherry trees that were dotted all around the area and the grass was greener than any I had seen. It had a circular lake in the middle of the grass which, from what I saw, had fish in it.

"Was this room made with our taxes? I think I'd revolt if it was."

Yoruichi shrugged at the question. She wasn't one to involve herself with politics, with good reason obviously.

"Follow me."

She took me to the waterfall and took me inside it.

The funny thing was that the water didn't make me wet. It didn't dampen my clothing or my hair.

"Is this a modification on Hado 79? The water looks like it's normal so it's not that."

Yoruichi sighed at my antics and grew impatient. "I knew you'd do this. Your mind always wanders to Kido, you're addicted."

"Force of habit."

We continued into the waterfall and it revealed almost this sort of shrine. No, a shrine would be a wrong description. While it did hold similarities to one it looked more like an armoury. It had weapons all over the walls and one wall was specifically bare. It had a single Ornate looking blade. It was all orange and had a purple handle.

"Our family has been entrusted with protecting and the safekeeping of the weapons given to us by the gods."

"The gods? You'll have to be more specific."

"The soul king," Yoruichi said.

"So he does really exist."

I didn't particularly believe in the Soul King, I knew the possibility was there but I didn't really take it seriously. I thought it was a coping mechanism for Shinigami to explain their existence but to think he existed.

It raised the hairs on my body. I was curious now. I wanted to see it. The person that controlled my life, the reason why I'm alive

"No, it."

"So you have all these weapons? I can guess why you don't give it out. The central 46."

"Losing a sacred treasure means death. There's no way around it. If a sacred treasure falls into the wrong hands it could mean the end of the Soul Society as we know it." Yoruichi explained.

"These clan politics are too complex. It's interesting. The noble families control the central 46 but they are still subject to their laws."

"Control? What do you mean."

"The central 46 are lap dogs. They are puppets of the noble families. The laws are clear in that. The central 46 have made laws which favour the Noble families. As a Shinigami I cannot get involved with the Noble families at all. Unless they've committed a crime. You can see a problem with that right?" I explained to her.

"Rulings will be unfair and favour the nobility. If we have the Central 46 dancing in the palm of our hands then we have sway." Yoruichi realised.

"Quite unfair don't you think? Laws will always favour someone in one way or another. It's just human bias." I was well aware of the nuances of the Legislation in the soul society.

"Yasushi, you open my eyes to things I don't know I would have noticed without you."

"That's what a tutor is for."

-----------------

I was walking through the city of the Soul societies bustling streets. Shinigami walked around getting to their destinations.

It was a typical day.

My eyes wandered the several stall and merchants making business in the Soul Society.

I noticed a very specific one with quite a few Shinigami around it.

I walked through the crowd and it was a chess match.

It was a young man with spectacles with brown hair which was split in a specific style. Our eyes met for the briefest of seconds before he broke off and went back to his game.

He completely outplayed his opponent and just destroyed him showing no mercy whats so over.

He ended the match with little to no effort and shook hands with his opponent who admitted defeat in a respectful manner.

"I'm sorry but that will be all for today."

The crowd groaned and there were a few boos but they ended up leaving anyway. I was interested in the person so I decided to stay back.

"That was a nice game."

"Thank you, I've been playing ever since I could afford a chessboard." The man replied.

"I'm Yasushi, pleasure to meet you." I put my hand out for a handshake which he took with quite a weak grip.

However, once our hands connected, I felt something. Something about him was just off.

"Sosuke Aizen, a pleasure to meet you too."

Sosuke seemed to have a similar look on his face. He must have noticed something too.

"Can I entertain you with a match?" He asked.

"I wish I could stay but I have to get to the 12th division. Work will be what kills me in the end." I joked.

"Of course. A 3rd seat such as yourself must be incredibly busy. Thank you for watching my match despite having other work." He bowed towards me which was quite odd. My division was never respectful of authorities so no one actually did anything politely or respectfully.

"I hope to meet you again, Sosuke," I said as I took my leave.

-------------------------

'That man. He was restricting his Reiatsu.' Aizen thought. 'Who would've thought I'd meet him today. He's more interesting than I thought.'

---------------

"He was limiting his reiatsu. The moment I touched his hand I could feel his reiatsu being blocked off. His reiatsu felt incredibly raw too. The movement of the reiryoku in his body felt perfect with nothing wrong with it too."

'Sosuke Aizen, Just who are you.'
