Chapter 31: Discussion

Mother Sophia stiffened up upon hearing Mother Victoria wanting to teach me Blood Magic. " You saw how he blew up that mountain, and you still wish to teach him blood magic? That will jeopardise us training and trying to keep him from being executed by the heavens." Mother Sophia yelled as her eyes welled up with tears.

" Blood Magic seems like a good option." Mother Vicky walked up and calmly addresses them, eyes burning through me after looking at the destruction of the scenery. " Blood Magic is a double edged sword, healing as well as it kills, it drains a huge amount of energy and also it's ability to store huge amounts of energy in inanimate objects. That was the very reason we looked for the strongest blood witch."

" You are willing to risk him going on a rampage and killing, he casually blew up a mountain range. I just went and survey the area. The magic interference field is phenomenally high, it felt as if I was going near Lucifer's rage. " Shreya arrived with her sisters, their charred and their wings had small patches of burning ambers.

" Devin would never do that, he would never kill innocents. Isn't that right?" Kol stared at me with pleading eyes." Tell them. That the power will not corrupt you. Tell me." Her voice breaking with every word.

" I won't. I will do anything to prevent innocents from being dragged into the battle. Risk my life for my men to prevent too many casualties." I responded, everyone stared for a few moments.

Mother Victoria grabbed me by the nape of my bare neck and pulled me under her arm. She flung get hand over my shoulders and smiled to the rest. " Trust me, with this he will be the strongest version of himself and he will be able to fully control his abilities."

Everybody nodded in silence after considering her offer. When a loud booming voice spoke, " Who is the idiot responsible for the destruction of my sanctuary?!"
