Chapter 28: Lost

Mother Sophia quickly composed herself as she stood up. "Shut your mouths!" She warned, her face stern for just a moment before returning to her smiling self and walked towards the others.

I looked at Shreya, feeling confused and small. " Shreya, what is going on?" Her head pivots slowly as her eyes stared through my soul. "You don't know who you are, the powers you possess, and the destruction you could cause. " She paused as she stood up. "You are the weakest Demon King yet! 'Save us' my ass." She spread her wings and took off high into the skies leaving a trail of clouds as she flew towards the mountain peak. The other sisters immediately followed her.

My mothers called to me as Kol regained consciousness. I rushed to Kol and grabbed her left hand as I slide towards her. Mother Victoria slapped me on the back of my head. " How many times have I taught you? Stop sliding, you leave a trail of dust and irritate others. "

"Heh...still the same Devin I met in the forest. Sliding down the side of a mountain and grabbing me. Running away from a mudslide." Her voice barely audible as she spoke.

"Mothers, I need to talk to ask of you. Perhaps now is a convenient time for us?" I requested as soon as I recalled the voice. They looked amongst each other and nodded. " So, Who and what am I?" Mother Victoria immediately responded " You are Devin, our son."

Mother Sophia immediately raised her hand to signal for Mother Victoria to stop talking. " It is about time we told him the truth. Lucifer has already made contact with him. There is only one other person who hasn't and I think it was time to explain ourselves."

They stared at each other for a while, worry or guilt has flooded their faces. I could not read the emotions of the atmosphere in that instance. Mother Vicki spoke up in her loud and clear voice" Devin, we soul merged 6 of the strongest of the realms to create a child that would be the strongest and hopefully defeat the Dark Siders and finally bring peace back to the world. Lucifer the Devil, Adrian the Dual Bladed Berserker, Vampire Brian the God Slayer, Victoria the Dark Sorceress, Brynhildr the Valkyrie and Sophia the Ice Queen of the fallen. We all have up half our life span to grant the children in each of our wombs immortality and unlimited powers. As soon as the 3 children were born. Lucifer and Victoria quickly fused 3 of them together and implanted them into Victoria's womb again where she carried you for 18 months. Risked her life for carrying a demon spawn. Adrian married her and promised to look after her and laid his reputation on the chopping block to protect the both of you. He travelled far and around the world in search of weapons to contain such powers you possessed. Only the scythe that Lucifer possess holds the key to more power than any of the 3 weapons you brought along with you."

"So you are telling me that I actually hold a crazy amount of powers to the point where more than half of it is stored in the Demon Realm?" I asked in frustration for the realization that no one really trusted me with the knowledge of my powers.

" To be more precise, almost all of your power is stored in that Hellfire scythe." Mother Sophia corrected me.

Emotions started to engulf my mind, anger blurred my vision. Fear clouding my judgement.
