Chapter 13: Sisters

"Saddle up, ladies!" I said loudly, as I brought Adam, Thirteen and Flora out from the stables to meet up with Kol and Shreya.

Kol walked up to Thirteen and strokes her head. Seeming as if having an unspoken conversation with each other. " Shreya meet Flora. Flora, be a good girl and take care of Shreya, will you? Thanks." Shreya stares at the chestnut coloured horse as it slowly eats the grass just in front of her black boots.

" Let's go. We will keep riding until sunset and set up base at the foot of Mount Pleasant." I told them before moving ahead. Kol races to the front to get a better look of the scenery at the path to the base. A myriad of colours splattered all over the grass plains, the Sun was warm, the wind gently lifting her hair exposing the nape of her neck. It felt like a scene out of a dream.

Shreya trotted her horse next to mine." I think I can see why you chose that girl. She's pretty, isn't she. Cute, pretty, bashful, a little naughty but also she is a kind soul. While searching for you, I saw her playing with the kids, teaching them and comforting them when they are injured. She also helps around the village, especially the elderly and the women, they talk good about her. Ladies compliment how her clothes always matches her blue and green eyes and golden hair. The elderly compliments her on her efforts and says that you are lucky to have her. Traders come by to capture her beauty in their heart. You really are lucky, aren't you, little brother."

"Yeah...She is just like a dream. Even her flaws are charming. " I replied, still enchanted by Kol's beauty.

"Second and fifth sister will meet us at the river before we cross the bridge to the camp site. They will help us with the setting up of the camp. Fifth sister specializes in Ice magic. Second sister in Earth magic with a rare ability for lava and metal control." Shreya informed us as we got closer to the bridge.

Kol was visibly a little anxious after hearing that. Her back straighten as she saw 2 shadows flying overhead only to land beside her, flanking both sides.

"Devin, why have I never met your so called sister until today?" Kol questioned as the fallen on the right side pokes at her face and chest before comparing it to hers.

" The one with the Black and white dress is Second Sister, Sonia. And the one on the right with the blue dress is fifth sister, Trisha or known to the world as Titania or Ice Queen. She is the strongest at ice magic, second to none." Shreya introduced the 2 Fallen as she dismount Flora.

Kol and I dismounted to introduce ourselves, but Shreya turns to face us " Sisters, this is our brother that mother told us about, he goes by the name Devin Keeler Brynhild and his Healer Adventurer wife Kol "Yuki" Ainsworth, she was travelled most parts of the world and earned the name in the Eastern World for her smooth fair skin and beauty, along with her natural talent for ice magic and healing magic." Kol blushes and buries her face as she hides behind my back. I chuckled and out outstretched my hand. "It's an honour to meet the Legendary Titania and the Earth Shaker."

Sonia took my hand and shook it. Her hands were soft and warm.

Trisha grabbed the back of my armour and threw me onto the ground, in a disbelief she asked :" This puny human is what mother asked us to look for? A scrawny, black chicken haired human that could barely defend himself? This is a waste of my time!"

" He is the one, and he basically destroyed more than a thousand Dark Siders and 20 Giants without losing a single man. He may not look like much, but he is powerful in his own rights! Mother sent me to look for him. I did my job and you shall do yours!" Shreya argued as she shoves Trisha on the shoulder.

"You are only good at illusions and seducing men. Your combat prowess are practically non-existent to me, Shreya." Trisha scoffs as she looks at me, still on the floor.

Kol steps forward and draws her blade towards the empty field. "Something's coming. Single fast moving creature."

Shreya drew her blade and stood in front of Sonia and Trisha. I drew my blade from my hip and stood my back against Kol's small back ready to fend off the enemy.
