Chapter Two

As the friends went inside with their flashlights on, they looked around as they saw left over blankets and pillows from their previous visits.  "Why are blankets and pillows here?" Emily asked as Mike chuckled. "You didn't tell her?" Dan asked. "Tell me what?" "This was our old hangout when we were teens. We would spend the night here every weekend and every summer we'd go up to Aaron's cabin." Mike explained. "Oh." Emily managed to say in surprise as the guys looked around the area.Emily was the new edition to the group. Considering, she was Mike's recent girlfriend. "Everything's still the way Aaron left it." Amanda said as she bends down to grab a small doll. "It's been untouched since his suicide." Dan said as Zack flashed his flashlight towards his surroundings trying to find a lantern to turn on. "Does anyone remember where Aaron left the lantern?" Zach asked as Amanda placed the doll on a blanket and walked over to a cabinet opening it, revealing the lantern and giving it to Zach. "Here, my love." Amanda said as Zach grabbed the Lantern, turning it on and putting the flashlight in his back pocket. "Thanks babe." Zach said as he kissed her forehead. "Thanks babe." Austin and Dan say mockingly as they eye each other romantically. Zach looks at them annoyed, while Amanda looks at them giggling. "Ya'll would be a great couple. I'd support you two" Amanda says as the two get off each other. "Well, we'd better get going if we want to make it before nightfall." Amanda says grabbing Zach's hand. Emily stays close to Mike as Austin and Dan follow behind. They start heading in deeper into the cave.
