Chapter 26: Invited for I-Expo

Weeks go by as Ryu continues his new routines wake up, take a bath, eat breakfast, go to school and teach, lunch at UA, more classes, late night forging, go home, eat diner, and sleep. It went fine excluding the number of letters which are bills, letters from his fellow Blacksmith's congratulate his rise to popularity and compliments. But new ones which are shut downs by support companies, threats, and bribery to shut his business down. He knew too well about his creations and talents will come and haunt him but he came prepared and readies a sledge hammer incase something went wrong and hides his money with a emergency safe hidden in his house where he knew where it is. There were moments villains and assassin's hired from support companies to kill him but many either get heavy concussions, broken bones, and heavy blunt injuries. Or worst heroes who visit him and many were captured and called by the police as Ryu thanked them with a free maintenance on their equipment which made many heroes happy and respecting him more. Even vigilantes hired by support companies wanted to kill him but as Ryu convinced them what they wanted to do as many wither comply even Stain earned his respect gained as many got their equipment and weapons from him as many were satisfied with his work and paid him more.

Muramasa Residence afternoon

It was the weekends as he was finished making some of the requests from museums and heroes and sends his deliveryman and paid him to send those forged items made by him. Until he checked his mail he got this morning checking each one of them the usual transactions, threats, bribery, and marks of assassins trying to kill him. Until he stumbled upon a letter inside is a Puck as he knew its a hologram message as he opens the message it shows an advertisement about the opening of I-Expo in I-Island and he is invited to be there. Ryu knew what I-Island is and as a child he dreams to be in that Island but due to the slow money from his family he didn't fulfil his plans to get in I-Island until now. He prepared his finished items and products he had in his storage room his equipment and his personal tools and his signature dwarvish sledge hammer and his kanji name Hata-Jirushi banner in his truck and pack up his personal items with him and luggage and went to the airport.

Japan Mustafu airport

As he arrived at the airports there are some pro-heroes, airport security and, civilians getting in and out of the airport as Ryu enters he shows his ticket to I-Expo. And security began to lead him to the departure area for I-Expo in the luggage inspection many questioned about the tools, equipment, and items they asked as he showed them the letter to I-Expo about his invitation. And he was sent to the airport as the luggage and items inside of each bag are carefully stored in the plane and Ryu inside the plane he was calm and enjoying the view of the airport as the plane move towards the runways it began to launch and take flight towards I-Island as Ryu reading a magazine about I-Island and the I-Expo event.

I-Island Airport

As the plane lands and reached to the airport terminals Ryu left the plane and wen t to the luggage claim area with many bags and boxes with his works and projects such as armors he made, swords, shields, knives, hammers, and other metal forging projects he made. He grabs a luggage cart to place all of his items and tools he need to use for forging. As he is outside of the airport he was greeted by a woman who is an employee that greets visitors and tourists and gives them a brochure of I-Island and Ryu thanked her and grabs the brochure until she began to ask.

"Say...I'm familiar about you are you a celebrity or something?" asking Ryu "Well... You may heard of Japan's Blacksmith right" He said until the woman realized who he was "Wait! Your Ryu Muramasa the Blacksmith of Japan's heroes! Wow its an honor that you have come here for the I-Expo! " She exclaimed as many heard her as people see him in person the Blacksmith of Hero Society has arrived on I-Island many wanted to see him up close, wanted his autograph, and his forged Items he might want to sell. As people approach Ryu he was nervous and at the same time embarrassed about them wanting to take photos with him showing of his items of to them and admire his skills and shaking hands with them as people who are at the airport have great honour to meet the blacksmith himself.

I-Island hotels

As Ryu registered his ticket and the receptionist welcomed him and gave him his room as went to his room as he arrived he then placed his bags on the ground and lay down at the bed because he was exhausted after the airport arrival many people wanted to meet the blacksmith himself as he arrived in I Island he had a 15 minute short nap before he meet the scientist of I-Island. He dreams to be the most successful man in his life and leave a mark in the world with his creations and fulfill his father's dreams of continuing the Blacksmithing art.

I-Expo lobby

As he arrived with his Smithing attire and carrying around his sledgehammer and a cart full of his items he is planning to sell he arrived at the receptionist to ask about one of the scientists he needs to meet. Then she leads him to where he is as he was showing off his inventions to investors and corporations to give them some investments to give them a change of Hero Society. Then the scientist sees in his right the Blacksmith himself as he finished telling the investors about his inventions they left and the scientist then approached Ryu himself.

"You must be Ryu Muramasa correct?" he reaches his hand to Ryu for a handshake as Ryu shooked his hand "Yes that would be me Mister...?" he said as The scientist introduced himself "My name is Dr. Robert Scott a fellow quirk scientist in I-Island" he said as they both let go of their hands after their hand shake "So... You are the blacksmith with an embedding quirk correct?" Dr. Scott asking "Yes,yes I am Dr. Scott" as he confirmed himself. "Well then we can discuss about your quirk in my office but first do you have anything to show off your quirk?" he asked "Well Doctor a knife I made would be a good example for that" as he opens his bag and show the doctor his knife in its leather sheath. The doctor took the knife and unsheathed it's leather sheathe and was completely amazed about the artisans skill as he then asked "How would I know if it works?" he asked "That would be a bit of a problem you need someone with a emitter and transformation type quirks to activate the blade itself."

He said and the scientist then approached a random hero that visits and asked him to activate his quirk and luckily he had a flame emitter quirk and the knife was engulfed in flames as the knife was still intact and as the user deactivate its quirk the knife retain its shape no damages, burns, and scorch marks the scientist was shock and was amazed to see the knife retaining its shape with satisfaction.

"Well then shall we discuss about this in my office alright" he said as the Ryu nods and grabs his bag full of items "Heres your knife" he said as Ryu said "Nah you can keep it as a thing to examine and a proof that you met me" he said as the scientist nodded and kept the knife with him as the leave the I-Expo venue.
