6 Chapter 6

Spane, waking from unconsciousness, leaned her head on the door to hear for any unsightly noises. It was deathly silent. Kai, yawning as he got up, asked "where are we?" "Now you wake up!" Spane retorted giving Kai a face of frustration. "We, I mean Saraya, could of used your help!" Kai then stood up and started to open the door. Spane yelled at Kai, pulling him back; it was to late though, the door was already open and fresh air rushed in knocking the wind out of both of them. "we could have just been mauled to death by spiders ya know" Saraya told Kai, letting out a sigh of relief. He then got back up and walked through the door into the room with the mirror still reflecting blood and fear. The room was covered with a scarlet liquid and near the window bones of a human girl layed there, with some flesh still hanging of the bones.

"looks like we missed a party" a voice said in the back of Kais head. "Of all the times, now you come out and say something Aster" Spane commented. Kai stood in shock and asked if she could hear the voice too. "I don't know how but apparently I can" kicking the chard corpse of a spider. " I also know that your not actually called Kole". There was a pause."I have no idea what your talking ab..." "don't play stupid... Kai!" He smiled and told Aster he was a cunt. "fine my real name is Kai, I don't come from this world, and I have a ball of light that burrowed itself into my chest!" Spane sat on the blood soaked sofa and, again let out a sigh. "what are we gonna do now? we have no where to go. nothing to eat or drink." Then, a ball of light appeared in front of Kai. "don't worry, I have that sorted, take me to the Capitol and I have a friend called Tyler Denison that can take us in" it was Aster, which then gently pressed up against Kais chest and disappeared into his body again. "You motherfucker! I had to go through all that pain when you could have just done that!" Kai screamed. Spane gave him a suspicious look and kai said "he burrowed into my chest causing agonizing pain, long story" while waving his hand as if it were nothing. "so, to the Capitol then" Spane said taking pricy items and putting them in a rucksack with food she took from the kitchen. and then jumped out the front door, with a rucksack full of loot and food. Kai looked at her giving a shake of the head and followed her out, grabbing the rucksack and throwing it on his back. Spane grinned at him and started to skip through the dense woods like nothing on the past day had happened. "we should grab the weapons from that attacker on the way" Kai shouted, but Spane was already at it shouting "beat you to it slow poke" and they both set of to the Capitol to find this so called friend of Asters.
