2 Chapter 2

"Hey you lazy shit get up. Sometimes I wonder why I took you in Kole." A lady said, holding a bucket and cloth. " today you have to clean every inch of this building." She then rambled on about how she saved Kole and Kai wondered, 'why is she calling me this?' but then remembered how a voice told him he will live in an others body. He then looked at this lady, and saw she was wearing a church sisters clothing. He also saw she had long, dark brown hair and a slightly pale complexion. Her cold, icy blue eyes then turned to meet Kai's and stabbed through him like daggers and it was like they were saying get to work now or something will happen. Kai, In Kole's body, then rushed to the bucket and cloth to start cleaning, scared of what might happen. A little girl then hopped to his side with another cloth and started helping. Kai looked at her in bewilderment and said "who are you and why are you helping me?" The girl then replied with "don't be silly Kole I'm Spane, and why wouldn't I help you, we're like siblings." Spane then smiled and started to help. "What do you think your doing young lady? Go do your knitting instead of helping this brat!" the old lady shouted. "But sister Liz" Spane said while holding tightly to the cloth. "No buts missy! Now go" said the sister while raising her hand as if to hit Spane. At this point Kai realised that the sister was a bitch and he is stuck with her until he gets to an age where he can leave, as he was put in a younger body.

It quickly turned night and the sky turned a dark red, but stars could still be seen. They were more beautiful than the ones Kai could see at his grandparents in the mountains of Transylvania. "remarkable aren't they?" said a timid voice from behind him. He looked behind his shoulder and found Spane, she had luscious golden locks, deep blue eyes and wore a cheap but good looking dress. "they are aren't they" Kai replied. Both of them Sat under the old oak tree outside the run down church orphanage. It looked like it was falling apart, but to the children there it was home. Most of them had been abandoned by their parents and some ran away. Spane leaned on kai's shoulder and her eyes became heavy and started to shut. "Hey, Spane" Kai said and Spane replied with a little hum "I'm not really Kole, my names Kai and I don't come from this world!" he exclaimed. However Spane was asleep and didn't hear. Kai gave a sigh of relief and fell asleep with Spane. While he was falling to sleep he couldn't stop thinking about the pain he went through and if it would happen again. "oh don't worry, I'm still here waiting for something exciting" said the same voice that tore through his chest. Suddenly, a cold sweat enveloped him and he couldn't go to sleep.
