CHAPTER 1 : Beginning
It has been more than a century passed when the blood rain washed the surface of the whole planet earth, every survivors felt unbelievable to the unprecedented phenomenon and many things have changed not just the balance, structure or the situation of the earth but also the human survivors' bodily strength as it can now possess such unwordly power which they called it a "Ranger" and the animal's mutations.
After a century since the blood rain happened, scientists and researchers around the world combined their forces and put their time and selves in solving the mystery of the human's evolution in hopes of finding the answers of how to elevate the human's strength to fight for the mutated beasts and regain the humanity's freedom .
And in just a 50 years of research, they finally found the solutions to their answers of how will they elevate the human's power and it will be by consuming the blood essences or inner cores of the mutated animals after some modifications, because humans could die instantly if they will just consume it without being modified by the researchers. [Technologies also have been upgraded a high level.]
All humans that survived and their descendants are all capable of becoming a Ranger since the blood rain have infected them and have already etched in their bloods, and they are all required to activate their genes with a tool at the age of 16 and after that whether they will stay low as a normal citizen or becoming a Ranger will be up to them.
Rangers are the protectors of the humanity and have an enormous strength that can lift a thousands of tons because they are now capable of raising their strength with the inner cores and blood essences of the mutated animals, they can also live a life for a thousands or more based on their strength, but it wont be that easy to get those essences because not just the humans have possessed such strengths but also the animals who undergone mutations and turned more dreadful especially those ancient predators that have been revived and multiplied at a fast rate.
After a century of ardous endeavour with the help of the Rangers, humans have gained a foothold and founded an Alliance and gathered every people in it for shelter which a thick wall surrounded and protected them, and there will be some powerful Rangers assigned by the Philippine Alliance to protect them.
Country of the Philippines, was a famous and a respected country because of the peak expert or one of the renowned strongest Ranger on earth protecting the whole country from terrifying beasts, but only those strong beasts who occasionally roam for food, that expert also founded the Philippine Alliance for the country's Rangers.
It was confirmed that the whole Visayas (Middle part of the Philippine Country) have nearly conquered by the beasts and among the 9 islands of Visayas which are the Panay, Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Leyte, Samar, Siquijor, Biliran, and Guimaras. Only the island Leyte survived and the rest turned into ruins by the beasts after more than a century.

"Yhel Crowford!. . .Yhel Crowford wake up! You are getting late! Hurry and pack your things now!, Ate Ana will bring you to Sogod for your gene activation, come down now!" A lovely voice sounded from a radio transmitter on Yhel's room.

A golden haired handsome young man was sitting at his room beside the window looking at the towering thick wall from afar, he's looking at the great wall that covered the whole Southern Leyte to protect them from mutated beasts lingering outside.
*sigh* "I have finally turned sixteen today" As he watched outside from his window, a slight smile etched on his face as he got up and prepared his bag and jacket then came down to the lobby from his room.
Yhel Crowford is an orphan as his parents died when he was still a new born child, his late father was a Ranger but he died on his expedition as a Ranger, and his mother also died after she delivered him as a new born baby.
He grew up here in a branched White Cross orphanage in-charged by Ate Ana, a 56 years old lady who was assigned to run the orphanage and educate the children as they grow up until they turned 16 before sending them to the alliance to decide their own future there.
Southern Leyte Alliance spanned for about 1,799 square kilometers and they have their own training ground which called "Southern Leyte State Alliance" located at Sogod Southern Leyte, they are an alliance to groom and train young Rangers to protect humanity in the future.
Being a Ranger isn't simple as you will put your life in danger but it's the most and the quickest way to earn money as the bodies of the hunted mutated beasts can be sold to a hefty price.
"Yhel is here!" That lovely voice from earlier caught everyone's attention as Yhel Crowford approached them carrying his bag on one shoulder.
"Tskk I actually waited for a month until your birthday for the activation of my gene" a young boy snorted for he hated Yhel, he already turned sixteen last month but waited for Yhel to turn 16 as they are the only ones who will turn 16 this year in the orphanage
Yhel naturally heard it but he just ignored it and turned his back.
"Youu~~" that young boy was infuriated of Yhel's act as he raised his fist and was about to teach Yhel a lesson.
"Try it, or you will never have a chance to activate your gene" he turned his head back to the young boy as he glared him with chilly killing intent flashed in his eyes.
As the world changed, it's rules also changed, everyone can sort to violence if one has a power to back with it, even more when they are outside the alliance's protection or outside the wall where beast lingering everywhere, whether the beast or human have killed you, no one will stood up unless you're with a powerful background.
Yhel already had enough of their bullyings and violence, but did not retaliated until now, he wasn't a coward or he feared them, but he just didn't want to cause commotions in the white cross orphanage in respect of his Ate Ana, who brought him up until he is now.
The young boy was dumbfounded and was dazed, he didn't expect Yhel Crowford to fight back and what's even more surprising for him is that, Yhel's eyes seemed like a dagger for he felt chills on his scalp.
Suddenly, a middle aged woman arrive at the front door, riding a programmed flying shuttle that can only accommodate 5 persons at most and travel at a fast speed with 100% safety assurance unless an unprecedented events happened.
