9 Jiraiya and Tsunade

(Kushina's house)

After Kushina left the world of mind after angering the kyuubi, she noticed a strange part in their conversation.

Kyuubi wanted to tell her something. But after getting angry, both of them had forgotten it.

She tried to establish a mind link again to ask Kyuubi. But the kyuubi seemed to be forcing him out of the mind world.

If Kushina wanted, she could suppress the kyuubi's power with chakra chains. However, she decided not to do that. She didn't want to ruin her budding friendship this way.

Kushina said, "I guess it didn't really matter. "

He decided to give up for now

(5 days later in Kanazawa town)

A tall, well-built man was walking around the town. He had waist-length white spiky hair and tied it in a ponytail. On his head was a headband with the word (oil) written on it.

He was obviously Jiraiya, one of the three students of the third Hokage.

He was surprised that his sensei was using the emergency sacrifice. His sensei had never used the toad in years.

What surprised Jiraiya even more was that his mission was to search for Tsunade.

Sensei knew Tsunade's fear of blood and her fear of losing those close to her. That's why he had let her wander for years, just in case she recovered.

Normally, if a shinobi stayed away from the village for so many years, there would be a bounty on his head as Missing-nin. The reason Tsunade was not a missing-nin was because the Hokage protected her in the council.

But now her sensei wanted Tsunade back. He didn't know what mission required both of them. The mission was important.

After Jiraiya took the toad with the mission, he started the mission.

After about 4 days he found out which town Tsunade was in. He spent 1 day on the road. It was admirable that Jiraiya, who was a super pervert, did the mission without hitting on any girl.

Jiraiya was currently visiting the bars in Kanazawa town one by one, looking for Tsunade.

There were a few bars he hadn't visited. If there was no Tsunade in them, he had to investigate which town he went to.

He came in front of a small building. It was a building with a thin paper door in front.

He prayed to every god he could think of to find Tsunade in this bar.

Five days without the girls felt like a death sentence to him.

He slowly entered the bar. He started examining the tables starting from the right. He kept examining until he came to the table in the middle.

When he locked eyes with a brown-eyed woman with blonde hair and a purple diamond-shaped stamp on her forehead, he knew he had found his target. Then he shouted.

Jiraiya, "TSUNADE!!!"

Tsunade, "JIRAIYA!!!"

The woman was extremely surprised, not expecting a friend she hadn't seen for years.

---------------------------

Tsunade, "Why are you here, Jiraiya?" She knew it was not for nothing that Jiraiya came here.

Jiraiya, "Could it be that I wanted to see a friend I haven't seen in years?"

Tsunade, "Stop kidding around, I know you didn't come here for nothing."

Jiraiya, "That's right, I got a mission from sensei."

Tsunade, "What do I care?"

Jiraiya, "The mission was to find you and bring you back to the village. "

Tsunade wondered why her sensei, who had given her permission for years, had suddenly called her back. But the village still reminded her of bad memories.

Tsunade said, "I refuse. Why would I want to go back to that village?"

Jiraiya said, "If it was a normal mission, I would have told your sensei that you refused, but this mission was brought by the emergency toad. "

When Tsunade heard about the emergency frog, her curiosity grew exponentially. She was with Sensei when he gave her the toad. But over the years she had never seen the toad used.

Now suddenly this toad had been used to get her back.

Tsunade still didn't want to return to the village. But the reason for the emergency call made her feel a great sense of curiosity.

Tsunade said, "I'll go back, but if the mission is unnecessary, I'll walk out the door and never return to the village."

Jiraiya nodded after hearing Tsunade's words and took out a flask from his pocket.

Jiraiya said, "You were easier to convince than I thought. I even bought the best sake I could find to convince you. Anyway, I'll drink that too."

Tsunade didn't even listen to what Jiraiya was saying after seeing the bottle of sake.

After taking the sake from Jiraya's hand, she started pouring it into the glasses in front of her.

(Evening, the inn where Tsunade and Shizune stayed)

Tsunade was too drunk to walk straight. Jiraiya had to carry her from the bar to the inn. But he didn't regret the process.

When Shizune saw his sensei being brought in drunk, he started massaging his head.

Today was the day they were leaving this town and he had promised to return without getting drunk.

But the scene in front of him said otherwise.

Looking at the man carrying his sensei, he realized why. He knew the man with his sensei. His Sensei didn't like to talk about his past memories, but when he was drunk he told hundreds of different stories. That's why he knew Jiraiya of Sannin.

Jiraiya said, "Ooo Shizune, you've grown so much. Last time I saw you, you were just a little brat. hahhaha"

Shizune had forgotten that this man had given him the title of super pervert.

Shizune, "Hello, Jiraiya-sama, can you put sensei on the bed over there?"

Jiraiya, "Okay."

Jiraiya put Tsunde on the bed on his back and turned to Shizune.

Jiraiya said, "I'm off. See you tomorrow."

Shizune looked at Jiraiya and Tsunade walking out the door and could only sigh. Then she rented a room for another day at the innkeeper's and came back to the room. She found a pair of pajamas from one of the bags she had packed and lay down on the other bed in the room.

(next day in the morning)

The trio set off for Konoha.
